Marcus was walking home from the End.
In his hands was an end crystal that the Ender Dragon let him have.
After putting the dragon’s blood in his heart, Marcus gained the strange ability to get healed by the crystal.
As Marcus continued his walk home, he thought about what had happened.
Tex was there… he shot him down… for a moment he died… he wouldn’t be here breathing if it wasn’t for the Ender Dragon.
He stood completely idle for a moment.
He couldn’t stop worrying about Tex, knowing that the Ender Dragon had sent many endermen to warn the other mobs about him, they would probably rip him to pieces if they saw him… He knew he didn’t deserve any kind of mercy after what he did.
But… he just… didn’t want anyone to get hurt… As he came upon his house he was immediately greeted by his skeleton, spider and creeper friends.
As soon as they saw Marcus, they immediately ran to him and held him tightly, nearly making him drop his crystal.
"OH MY GOSH! MARCUS! THANK GOODNESS YOU'RE OKAY!" The skeleton yelled, pressing his skull against Marcus' cheek.
Marcus gulped as he felt the skeleton hugged him tightly. He had no idea that they were this concerned about him.
“H-Hey guys~ It's okay~ Everything's okay~” Marcus said, trying to comfort him.
“Okay?! Marcus, you died!” The spider yelled.
The creeper hissed sadly, also very concerned for Marcus.
“Yeah… I know… I was there… I just don't want you guys to worry so much…” Marcus said.
“But we are worried… The Ender Dragon had a large group of Enderman go around and tell all the mobs to be on high alert and protect you from this human…” The skeleton said.
“Tex is pretty unpredictable… He's shot me in the chest twice now… it's only a matter of time before I bump into him again.” Marcus said, clutching his shirt.
They made their way into Marcus’ house. Marcus gently putting the crystal down.
“Don't worry Marcus, I'm sure that human has been scared off for now. We'll take this opportunity to train up to protect you. You think you'll be okay by yourself for a little bit?” The skeleton asked.
Marcus smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I think so, I'll try to keep a low profile~” Marcus said.
The mobs nodded and left the house. Leaving Marcus alone.
Marcus took a small glance around his house, eyes then locked onto the map in a bottle that he had collected from the ocean ruin, sitting on his dresser.
Marcus pulled out the map and gave it a look through, there was an X drawn on the beach near his house.
Marcus nodded to himself as he went through one of his chest, pulling out an iron shovel. He was going to uncover this treasure.
He kicked his front door opened in a very dramatic fashion as he began his walk to the seaside.
As he walked he looked over to see the nearby pond where his squid friend lived.
Although he didn't live there anymore, and thinking about a memory, Marcus smiled to himself.
—--------
Marcus remembered it like it was yesterday, a couple months ago Marcus had returned to his house after a visit to the Ender Dragon.
Feeling a bit thirsty he decided to go have a small drink in a small pond that his tickly squid friend lived in.
