JULIETTE HATED BEING GROUNDED. Hated it. The Cullens took it to a whole new level, too. They always seemed to be able to perfectly theme the grounding and the punishments that came with it based on whatever she did. When she was 13 and broke a window in their Alaska home, Carlisle made her clean every single window in the house, and she had to learn how to fix the glass.
Fun stuff, huh?
So, since she epically trashed the house and destroyed Edward's motorcycle, she had—in her parent's opinion—the perfect punishment. She had to make the house sparkly clean, clean everyone's vehicles, and repair Edward's bike.
Currently, Juliette was picking up the red cups from all around the house. So far, she had found over twenty, and those were just from the first floor. She walked into the living room, then groaned as she flopped onto the couch and pressed her temples. She still had a headache from the alcohol, but she had already taken a painkiller for it.
"And this is why we don't drink," Alice said in a sing-song voice as she walked in, then plucked a red cup from the couch and placed it in Juliette's trash bag. The fashionista vampire stood behind the couch and then planted her hands on her hips.
"Alright, get up!" Juliette just groaned in response, then pressed her face into a pillow.
Alice rolled her eyes, then looked around at the living room. Other than Edward's bike, it had taken the most damage, and it was the first room Juliette fixed up. It had returned to its pristine condition, but there was the faint smell of alcohol that only the vampires could smell.
"This whole process is just going to take a lot longer if you keep lazing around. Now, finish up the first floor, and you can take a break." Alice walked away, her heels clicking on the floor, and Juliette grumbled as she stood, grabbed her trash bag, and walked into the kitchen.
It took her another two hours, but she finally finished cleaning up the first floor. Except for the broken window, Emmett was going to do that. He didn't want her cutting herself in the house. No need for another Jasper Incident.
Juliette moaned and groaned as she walked into her room, and fell face-first on the bed, sighing. Alice gave her that one-hour break, but after, she had to go organize Rosalie's closet, which she and Leah had trashed by holding a fashion show.
"Well, that's attractive."
Juliette whipped her head up and saw Leah, who was holding and studying a picture of Juliette and Bella at their high school graduation.
"That mustard was a crime against humanity," the female shifter muttered. Juliette sat up quickly and was dumbstruck.
"How—What—When—How did you get in here?" She lived in a house of vampires, for God's sake. They could tell when she blinked, so how the hell did Leah get inside without them knowing?
