Joon Woo's feet carried him away from the hospital, his mind reeling with thoughts of Eun Ae and Beom Seok together. He couldn't shake the image of their cozy embrace from his mind. The trust he had in Eun Ae now felt like a distant memory, replaced by a deep-seated hurt and betrayal.

As he walked, the city streets blurred around him. He didn't notice the people passing by or the sounds of the bustling metropolis. His heart felt heavy, weighed down by the thought of losing Eun Ae.

Joon Woo eventually found himself at a small café, sitting at a table by the window. He didn't remember how he got there or why he chose that particular spot. He just knew he needed to sit down and try to process his emotions.

He ordered a coffee and stared out the window, lost in thought. Questions swirled in his mind: Why had Eun Ae kept this from him? Did she still have feelings for Beom Seok? Had he ever meant anything to her?

As the coffee grew cold, Joon Woo realized he needed to confront Eun Ae. He couldn't just walk away and pretend everything was fine. He needed answers, and he needed to know where he stood.

Joon Woo nursing a cold cup of coffee. His mind wandered back to the news that had shaken him to the core - Eun Ae and Beom Seok were together again. He couldn't believe she had kept this from him, especially after everything they had shared.

Why had she lied to him? Did she know how much he despised Beom Seok? The thought of her staying with him, without even a mention, felt like a betrayal.

Joon Woo's eyes gazed out the window, his thoughts racing with questions. He couldn't shake the feeling that Eun Ae had deliberately kept this from him. His parents had called him to America for a business meeting, but his heart was still in Korea, reeling from Eun Ae's deception.

He thought about confronting her, demanding answers. Why had she chosen Beom Seok over him? Didn't their bond mean anything to her?

With a newfound determination, Joon Woo stood up, leaving his coffee behind. He would get answers from Eun Ae, no matter what. He would go to Beom Seok's apartment and confront her about her lies.

The cafeteria faded into the background as Joon Woo walked out, his heart set on uncovering the truth. Little did he know, the conversation that awaited him would change everything...

Joon Woo sat on the couch, his eyes fixed on the door, waiting for Eun Ae to arrive. His mind was a jumble of emotions - anger, hurt, and betrayal. He had so many questions for her, and he was determined to get answers.

As he waited, he heard the sound of the door opening. Eun Ae walked in, oblivious to Joon Woo's presence. She locked the door behind her and began to hang up her coat, her back to him.

Joon Woo's eyes narrowed, his heart racing with anticipation. He was ready to confront her, to demand the truth.

Just as Eun Ae turned around, her eyes scanned the room, and suddenly, they landed on Joon Woo. Her eyes widened in shock, her mouth agape.

"J-Joon Woo!" she stuttered, taking a step back, as if she had seen a ghost.

Joon Woo's expression remained stern, his arms crossed over his chest. He said nothing, simply staring at Eun Ae, his eyes boring into her soul.

Eun Ae's eyes darted around the room, as if searching for an escape, before finally settling back on Joon Woo. She took a deep breath, her shoulders squaring, and began to walk towards him.

"Joon Woo, what's going on?" she asked, her voice trembling slightly. "Why are you here?"

Joon Woo's gaze never wavered, his silence speaking volumes. Eun Ae's eyes began to fill with tears, as she sensed the tension and anger emanating from him.

Eun Ae took another step closer to Joon Woo, her eyes filled with a mix of confusion and concern. She could sense the tension radiating from him, but he wasn't saying a word.

"Joon Woo, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle.

She reached out and wrapped her arms around him, pulling him into a warm embrace. Joon Woo's body stiffened, his arms remaining at his sides, but he didn't push her away.

"When did you come ?" Eun Ae asked, her voice muffled against his chest. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"

Joon Woo's expression remained frozen, his fake smile plastered on his face. He didn't answer, just kept looking at her with an unreadable gaze.

Eun Ae pulled back, her eyes searching his face. "Joon Woo, what's going on? You're scaring me."

Joon Woo's smile never wavered, but his eyes seemed to bore into her soul. He was angry, hurt, and betrayed, but he wasn't showing it. Not yet.

"I'm just happy to see you, Eun Ae," he said finally, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I missed you."

Eun Ae's eyes narrowed, sensing the insincerity behind his words. But she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Something was off, but she couldn't quite figure out what.

Joon Woo's gaze never left hers,
his gaze piercing through Eun Ae's facade. He had been watching her, waiting for her to slip up, and now he had his chance.

"Where were you , Eun Ae?" he asked, his voice casual, but laced with a hint of accusation.

Eun Ae's eyes widened, confusion etched on her face. "What do you mean? I was just... uh... at the library."

Joon Woo's smile never wavered, but his eyes seemed to bore into her soul. "At the library, at this hour?"

Eun Ae's eyes darted around the room, searching for an escape. She knew Joon Woo's temper, and she didn't want to provoke him. "I... uh... I was just grabbing a book."

Joon Woo's gaze never left hers, his expression skeptical. "A book, at midnight?"

Eun Ae's confusion turned to panic. She knew she was trapped, and Joon Woo's curiosity was eating away at her. She tried to think of another excuse, but her mind was a blank.

"I... uh... I was just meeting a friend," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.

Joon Woo's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched. He knew she was lying, and he was determined to find out the truth. "Which friend, Eun Ae?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.

Eun Ae's eyes faltered, her face pale. She knew she was caught, and Joon Woo's anger was simmering just below the surface.

"I... uh... just a classmate," she stammered, trying to downplay the situation.

Joon Woo's gaze never left hers, his expression unyielding. "A classmate, at Beom Seok's hospital?"

Eun Ae's eyes widened, her secret exposed. She knew she couldn't hide it anymore.

"Joon Woo, I-" she began, but he cut her off.

"Don't lie to me, Eun Ae," he said, his voice firm but controlled. "I know you were with Beom Seok. I saw you."

Eun Ae's face crumbled, her eyes filling with tears. She knew she had been caught, and Joon Woo's trust was shattered.
