I unwrapped the bag and served the food on a plate, calling out to Joon Woo. "Hey, come wash up and eat with me!"
He insisted he wasn't hungry at first, but eventually agreed. We sat down together, chatting and laughing as we ate.
Just as we were enjoying our meal, the doorbell rang again. I got up, wondering who it could be this time.
"Who now?" I muttered, opening the door to find another delivery person holding a bag of food.
"Hi, I have a delivery for Eun Ae," he said, handing me the bag before turning to leave.
I took the bag, confused, and walked back to Joon Woo. "Who ordered this now?" I asked, showing him the bag.
Joon Woo shrugged, equally puzzled. "I don't know. Open the note."
I pulled out the note attached to the bag and read it. My eyes widened in surprise.
"It's from Beom Seok !" I exclaimed, showing Joon Woo the note.
Joon Woo let out a laugh. "What is he doing? Trying to feed you for a week?"
I chuckled, feeling a bit overwhelmed. "I know, right? What are we going to do with all this food?"
Joon Woo nodded in agreement. "We can't possibly eat all of this. Maybe we can share some with your neighbour or something."
I smiled, appreciating his suggestion. "That's a great idea. But first, let's finish what we have here."
We continued eating, enjoying each other's company as we tried to make a dent in the massive amount of food.
As we ate, Joon Woo asked me, "So, what do you think Beom Seok's motives are? Why is he sending you all this food?"
I shrugged, unsure. "I have no idea. Maybe he just wants to make sure I'm eating well?"
Joon Woo raised an eyebrow. "Or maybe he's trying to butter you up for something."
I laughed. "Maybe. But I'm not going to worry about it too much. I'm just going to enjoy the food."
Joon Woo smiled, and we continued eating, savoring the delicious food and each other's company.
After finishing our meal, I started collecting the dishes and headed to the sink to wash them. But Joon Woo quickly stopped me, saying, "Let me do that."
I agreed, and he took over washing the dishes while I sat on the counter, watching him.
As he scrubbed and rinsed the plates, I couldn't help but notice how endearing he looked, his brow furrowed in concentration.
He caught me staring and looked up, a hint of a smile on his face. "What happened?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
I felt a blush rise to my cheeks. "Nothing," I said, trying to play it cool. "You just look handsome when you do dishes."
Joon Woo burst out laughing, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Handsome while doing dishes? That's a new one."
I giggled, feeling a sense of ease with him. "Hey, it's true! You're very domestic."
Joon Woo chuckled, continuing to wash the dishes with a renewed sense of purpose. "I'll make sure to add that to my resume."
