Beom Seok's expression turned intense, his eyes burning with a possessive passion. "Eun Ae, don't waste your time with Joon Woo. He's not the right guy for you. We know each other from childhood, we share a bond that no one else can understand. We can be together, just like we always should have been."Eun Ae felt a shiver run down her spine as Beom Seok's words took on a selfish tone. "Leave Joon Woo, Eun Ae. He's nothing to us. I'll take care of you, like I always have. I'll protect you, provide for you...I'll be everything you need."
Beom Seok's voice grew more urgent, his words tumbling out in a rush. "We don't need anyone else, Eun Ae. Just us. We can go back to how things used to be, before Joon Woo came into the picture. I'll make you happy, I promise."
Eun Ae felt a surge of discomfort at Beom Seok's words. She had never seen him like this before, so possessive and controlling. She knew she had to make things clear. "Beom Seok, stop. This isn't right. I care about Joon Woo, and I won't leave him for you."
Eun Ae's voice was gentle but firm. "Beom Seok, you're also special to me. You're my best friend, my confidant...my brother. But I don't feel the same way as you do. My heart belongs to Joon Woo, and I can't leave him."
Beom Seok's face fell, his eyes flashing with a mix of sadness and anger. "So you're choosing him over me?" he asked, his voice tight with emotion.
Eun Ae nodded, her heart heavy with sorrow. "I'm not choosing him over you, Beom Seok. I'm choosing the person I love. And that's Joon Woo."
Beom Seok's expression twisted in pain. "Fine. If that's how it is...then maybe we shouldn't be friends anymore."
Eun Ae's eyes widened in shock. "Beom Seok, don't say that! You're my friend, my family...nothing can change that."
But Beom Seok just shook his head and turned away, leaving Eun Ae feeling heartbroken and lost.
Eun Ae's eyes welled up with tears as she watched Beom Seok walk away. The sky above seemed to mirror her mood, dark clouds gathering and releasing a torrent of rain. She stood there, frozen in despair, as the rain soaked through her clothes and hair.
She felt lost and alone, her heart heavy with grief. She had never imagined that her love for Joon Woo would cost her the friendship of a lifetime. Beom Seok had been her rock, her confidant, her everything. And now, he was gone.
Eun Ae's body shook with sobs as she realized the true extent of her loss. She couldn't choose between her love for Joon Woo and her friendship with Beom Seok. She couldn't have both.
The rain poured down around her, a relentless reminder of her heartache. Eun Ae felt like she was drowning in her tears, unable to find a lifeline to cling to. She didn't know what to do, or how to make things right.
As the storm raged on, Eun Ae's cries were swallowed up by the thunder, her small figure lost in the downpour, her heart shattered into a million pieces.
Eun Ae took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing thoughts. She told herself that Beom Seok was just angry and hurt, and that when his mind cleared, he would come back to her. She hoped that their friendship was strong enough to withstand this setback.
With a newfound determination, Eun Ae picked up her bag and started walking towards Joon Woo's apartment, where they both lived. She needed to talk to him, to tell him everything that had happened with Beom Seok.
As she walked, the rain began to let up, and the sky lightened to a soft gray. Eun Ae felt a sense of hope rising within her. Maybe, just maybe, everything would work out in the end.
She arrived at the apartment, her heart pounding in her chest. She took a deep breath, wiped away the remaining tears, and opened the door.
Joon Woo was sitting on the couch, a look of concern etched on his face. "Eun Ae, what's wrong?" he asked, jumping up to embrace her.
