Joon Woo's eyes sparkled with amusement. "So, Eun Ae, how are you feeling today?" he asked, his voice low and gentle.

I blushed, feeling a flutter in my chest. "I'm feeling...good," I stammered, trying to play it cool.

Joon Woo chuckled and leaned in closer. "Good? Just good?" he teased, his breath tickling my ear.

I felt a shiver run down my spine as our faces drew closer. "Okay, fine," I whispered, my heart racing. "I'm feeling a little...nervous."

Joon Woo's smile faltered for a moment, and he looked at me with a curious expression. "Nervous? Why?"

Joon Woo's expression softened, and he reached out to gently brush a strand of hair behind my ear..

Joon Woo's eyes locked onto mine, filled with curiosity.

I hesitated, unsure of how to reveal my true feelings. We stood there, frozen in the moment, our eyes fixed on each other.

Just as I was about to respond, one of Joon Woo's friends called out to him. "Hey, Joon Woo! Come on, man! We're heading to the basketball court to practice!"

Joon Woo's gaze lingered on mine for a moment before he turned to his friend. "I'll be right there!"

As he turned back to me, I felt a rush of disappointment. "I...I don't know," I stammered, trying to play it cool. "I just feel like there's something between us, and it's making me nervous."

Joon Woo's expression was thoughtful, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he nodded and smiled. "I should go. But we'll talk more about this later, okay?"

I nodded, feeling a pang of disappointment as he walked away to join his friends. But then he turned back and caught my eye, holding my gaze for a moment before smiling and turning away again.

I watched him go, feeling a flutter in my chest. What was happening between us? And where was it leading? I couldn't wait to find out.

Eun Ae's POV:

I walked into class, expecting the usual chatter and laughter. But instead, I was met with darkness. The lights were off, and I felt a surge of confusion. What was going on?

I took a tentative step forward, my eyes straining to adjust to the darkness. Suddenly, the lights flickered on, and I was startled to see a boy standing in front of me, holding a bouquet of flowers and sporting a bright smile.

My heart skipped a beat as he took a step closer, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Eun Ae, from the moment I met you, I knew you were special. I was wondering if...maybe...you'd like to be my girlfriend?"

I was taken aback, my mind racing with shock.

I felt a wave of nervousness wash over me, and I bit my lip, trying to process what was happening. I took a deep breath and tried to speak calmly. "I...I'm flattered, but I don't feel the same way."

The boy's face fell, but he smiled wistfully. "I knew it was a long shot. You're just so amazing, Eun Ae. I had to try."

I felt a pang of guilt, but I knew I had to be honest. "Thank you for the flowers, though. They're beautiful."

He nodded and turned to leave, disappearing into the empty hallway. I let out a sigh of relief, my heart still racing from the surprise confession.

As I made my way to my seat,

I tried to focus on the lesson, but my mind kept wandering back to the surprise confession. I couldn't believe someone had mustered up the courage to declare their feelings like that. And in an empty
