Chapter -29

Jungkook came on terrace to take fresh air because he was feeling suffocated in his room but he halted in his steps when he saw two figures standing there too close with eachother what broke him more that they are familiar to him....he is talking to her very softly like he is talking with his heart...smile is not leaving for a nano second but this smile is not for him..he is not more his reason of smile ..his place is already taken by someone however he can't hear their conversation due to distance but sight was enough to broke his heart into million pieces...when he hugged her he felt his world rolled upside down he clenched his heart and closed his mouth to suppress his sobbing but his eyes didn't seem to help him..... when things started to get uncontrolled he decided to leave the place....

Jungkook came to his room however he stopped crying but he was broken inside....his face was devoid of any expression..for anyone what's the most difficult thing to see his love of life with someone else...to see him getting away from you gradually and misery is that you can't even stop him ..you can't tell him how much it hurts to see him becoming someone else...he just wanted to forget everything and just go to him , hug him so tightly and chid him how could he even think of marrying again...how could he easily gave up on him...they are not divorced yet then how come he think about marriage when he is already married top of that had a kid..he hasn't aware though....how brutal life can be he can only imagine all these scenarios in reality he is so cruel on himself that he can never confront him whether he would die in agony,his stubborn brain would never allow him to do so....the only thing he can to stop this turmoil is forgetting everything and to forget everything he needs to sleep which he won't get ...he opened the drawer and took out a pill with shaking hands he swallowed it and laid next to his son,holding him in his arms he drifted to dreamland where he can be free for sometime

Next morning

Kim family was all set to leave and about tae he was in his room fixing his tie his life was going to change after that and he has already accepted the reality and now he is ready to start a new life however there was only compromise no enthusiasm just he was going with the flow of life with a deep sigh he came out of his room they don't have anything to take back just some briefcase just when they were about to leave someone knocked on the door vigorously....a frown was visible on tae face ...who can be the person behind the door nonetheless he opened the door and there was the old lady with the baby he adores the most here ..but things were different he was not bubbly and playful today instead of that he was crying miserably and Amma was also hiccuping tears were flowing down from her eyes....she was trying to say something and indicating something but her breathing was uneven...that triggered guk more he cried loudly..tae took him him instantly and tried to console him but failed miserably..now he was scared to death ...he gestured her to come inside and all of them had a worried expression
"Amma..what happened calm down and tell us ..why guk is crying like this" he asked her ,she composed herself between the hiccups she said some incoherent words

"H...his m..other   .......f.... fire.....s-save h-her p-please "  she was badly stammering but he was able to get .. and was left shocked with this statement without wasting a second he handed guk to jimin and ran to save him ,jin tried to stop him but he was too fast...he doesn't know why he reacted this way when he hasn't met with him once but something is there that connects them together that he hasn't aware ..and when he heard about him stucked in fire he felt like someone very close to him in danger and he just couldn't stop himself....

He reached the floor that was covered with smoke ....he coughed as smoke started to fill into his lungs it was hard to breathe there...his vision got blurry... however he was resolute to save him that will keep him steady and he made his way towards the door ..he pushed the door luckily the door was not closed he entered and every single thing was caught in fire already the scene was horrible...his heart was palpating fastly he gulped the lump ...fear of loosing someone special was eating him alive his knuckles turned white as he fisted them tightly...he prayed his heaven to keep him safe...taking slow step he reached the kitchen...he called him further times but didn't get any response...it was dark like clouds has covered the whole apartment... suddenly his eyes caught a sight of something on the floor he squinted his eyes to look clear and his eyes got bigger when he realised there is a person laying on the floor lifeless ...he tore the curtains and covered him with it and took him in bridal style and exited from there...he stumbled on his place but his hold on him was too firm ..he didn't let him fall ....he secured him in his embrace like a glass doll who will broke in pieces if he accidentally fall him

He rushed to his apartment... people were glancing him with questionable eyes but he didn't care about them ...he took him to his room and laid him on the bed....he couldn't recognise him since his face was covered with cloth in order to save himself from smile.....all of them barged inside the room ..he immediately loosen the cloth and the veil of all secrets uncovered...his biggest secret is revealed.... everything seems stopped for tae...he was long forgotten about guk .. it was just jungkook his love ,his wife his everything not someone's mother
There was his love of life lying lifeless...
This can't be true...
They were not supposed to end like this...
God can't be that cruel....
