A/n: GUYS DON'T ASK ABT MY OBSESSION WITH POURING RAINS!! The scene would js feel so different if it was bright and sunny n yk what i mean, right?

》Bradley《

My eyes followed Max as long as he was on sight, and I still continued to stare at the door long after he'd left.

His words made me wonder.

I really hadn't thought the consequenses of... this relationship.

If I continued this, my father would eventually find out. My father could never find out.

I am not allowed to be gay.

I shouldn't even feel this way.

Max has it easy. He has a loving father.

》Max《

I headed to my dorm, and saw my father waiting.

"Maxie!", he cheered as he pulled me into a tight hug.

"Yeah yeah, dad, nice seeing you too...", I mumbled as I squirmed out of his hug. "Our... uh dorm is a mess, so maybe we could just... walk around and catch up?"

"I like that suggestion!", Goofy laughed.

*************

We walked around and talked. A lot. And I lied. A lot.

I didn't like lying to him, but I also couldn't let him find out the truth, that his son is an alcoholic.

I mean sure it has gotten better, I think Bradley is slowly pulling me out of the addiction, but sometimes he also sents me spiraling back into it.

Afterall, my dad was happy to see me. And to be honest, I had kinda missed him. Just a bit.

I had to tell him about my visit to the hospital though, and he was furious.

I mean, I was upset with myself too.

I couldn't remember anything after calling Brad. Anything could've happened.

Not knowing is the worst curse ever.

Max: hey brad

Brad: Bradley

Max: do u wna go out

Brad: What do you mean?

Max: let's go on a date, u dumbass

Brad: I don't know.

Max: we can js act as two bestfriends

Brad: Fine, I guess.

Max: great, 7pm at Bean scene

**************

I stood infront of the café, waiting for Bradley. A moment later he walked in my sight, and gave me a small smile.

"Hey", I smiled.

"Hey."

We walked in the café and sat down in a comfortable corner table. I ordered a simple piece of cheesecake and a latte.

Bradley settled on americano and a cupcake.

The mood was somehow awkward.

"Brad?", I raised my eyebrow.

"Bradley.", he corrected

I pursed my lips. "Bradley."

"Yes?"
