Monica

Once we see Dar-Benn her ship in our view we quickly hide our ship and head off towards her. The plan was easy to follow but with Dar-Benn as opponent it could be ending catastrophic. Carol headed to the part of the ship were Dar-Benn was, Kamala stayed on lower level while Monica and I towards the back. I hid myself behind a wall and Monica made herself invisible so she could get closer to Dar-Benn and Carol who were talking.

"There she is, the Annihilator herself." Dar-Benn said once Carol stood on her ship. "It's over Dar-Benn." Carol said, clearly done with this whole thing. "No, not yet." She denies. "I know that you would do anything to protect Hala. This will be the end of the Kree. It will be the end of everything." Carol explain. "You took from me. I'm simply repaying the favor." Dar-Benn states. "Now, give me the band." She orders. 

"You're forgetting something." Carol says matter of factly. "What." Dar-Benns snarled before Monica appears hitting her while Kamala switches places with Monica resulting Dar-Benn flying backwards. Carol takes the Universal Weapon from the floor and walks towards the middle of the room where Kamala and I are already standing while Monica emerges through the floor.

"This could have been so much easier." Dar-Benn seethes, standing in front of us. "I don't know. I like our odds." Kamala says before using her powers and running towards Dar-Benn. The rest of us following her lead. Monica using her powers to shoot at Dar-Benn while Carol attacks with the Universal Weapon and I with my batons. Dar-Benn attacks Carol but she quickly blocks it with her weapon. While Dar-Benn is focused on Carol I sweep her legs under need her and Monica gives her a kick causing her to fly back. After fighting for a few seconds the Universal Weapon gets throw to me before I hit Dar-Benn with the weapon. This keeps continuing until Monica pushes Dar-Benn back, letting her fly into a wall. A piece of the wall falls onto Dar-Benn stabbing a spike into her.

"You're living up to you name again." Dar-Benn says, hurt hearable in her voice. "I didn't want this." Carol says. "Death seems to follow you." Dar-Benn whimpers. "It doesn't have to end like this, Dar-Benn. Please just give us the bangle." Kamala pleads. "I won't!" Dar-Benn exclaims. "Hala's son died because of you. Why shouldn't you repay us?" Dar-Benn asks Carol who has a guilty expression on her face. "Don't let her manipulate you Marv." I whisper to her since she next to me.

 "Maybe she should." Monica says causing me to give her a quick glance while the others have the same reaction that I have. "The reaction in your sun's core has slowed. It needs an incredible amount of energy to jump-start it, and that's what you have, Carol." Monica explains. "You can use your powers to save Hala." She continues. "But I've never done anything like that before." Carol says with hesitation in her voice.

"In the last couple of days, I have done a lot of things I have never done before. You got this." Monica replies which Carol answers with a nod. "For Hala." Carol says to Dar-Benn who is still laying under need the debris. "For Hala." Dar-Benn replies before Carol walks forwards. I quickly grasp her by her arm. "Be careful, I don't trust her." I tell her. Carol nods before walking further while I put my hand on my gun in case that Dar-Benn tries something.

Carol lifts up the debris causing Dar-Benn to groan in pain. Once the spike is lifted away from her body, she quickly grasp her weapon. In a swift motion she fires a shot a Kamala making me shoot at her while Carol and Kamala both uses their powers to attack and shield. Carol switches with Kamala by the using their powers at the same time making Kamala standing next to Dar-Benn. 

With the Universal Weapon in her hand she brings Kamala on the ground. "Try anything and I'll kill her faster than you can move." Dar-Benn warns us with her weapon placed on Kamala her head. I lower my gun but Carol keeps her fist up. "Carol!" Kamala screams whimpering. This caused Carol to lower her arm in defeat. "No!" Kamala exclaims when Dar-Benn lifts her arm to take of her bangle.
