Smitten

Fear of a defenseless nest
the dove has withstood before

Struck with tenderness
a maiden couldn't ignore

Warmth and fondness
has sheltered her core

Thread fell deep into the ocean
it hardly reached the shore

Candle has lit up
it burned like the summer

Yearning for affection
like it was december

Flooded by devotion
that flows like a river

Enruptured by the eyes of a fellow,
the flower may perhaps not recover

A delightful feeling
bigger than the galaxy

Worth a non-ending parade
that no man has failed to see

Not even a scale
could measure its intensity

Unfurled by the whirlwind,
dispersed in the entire humanity
