"You are one lucky asshole, I mean what are the odds that after this serious accident, you directly fall in your crush's arms," said Earn hitting Tine's shoulder slightly and he winces giving her a pouting look.
"Unlike you, I'm a good friend, I investigated a little and found that he is single but every girl in this hospital wants to be his girlfriend..." said Ohm trailing his sentence and leaning near Tine's face to whisper a secret, "Even boys,"
"Did you tell him about your crush on him?" asked Phuak and Tine gave him a Are you fucking serious look. Ohm smacked him agreeing to Tine on that.
"Who goes around announcing their crush to their crushes?" asked Ohm shaking his head at Phuak and Phuak pouted caressing the spot where Ohm hit him.
"I'm supposed to go for my last check-up tomorrow, at least I'll get to see him again," said Tine with a sad smile expectingly.
"Try to invite him to our performance, thankfully your hand wasn't injured at least you can play so that we don't have to cancel our performance," said Earn stating the fact with a comforting smile.
Tine sighs at what Earn just mentioned. She is right, the cosmos is with him on that they didn't snatch the power from him of bread and butter. He knows each member of the band is important when the performance goes on, and if one is in a bad position or injured or something there have to be consequences for the whole band.

Tine was sitting in the waiting room waiting for Sarawat for his check-up. His heartbeats were playing at their own rates as if they had minds of their own. As soon as the door opened, he almost jumped from his bed turning around with bated breath but his excitement turned into disappointment when he saw the person in front of him was not who he expected.
"Tine Teepakorn?" asked Fong reading the case file on his tab. Tine's shoulder dropped and he just nodded "Okay let's get you checked up," added Dr Fong closing the distance and Tine frowns.
"Umm, you are going to check me up?" asked Tine and Fong looked at him tensed. Fong was just a first-year resident and if a patient doesn't want him or rejects him that's bad for his consult rate.
"Umm, yeah! Is there a problem? Doctor Guntithanon assigned me your case," asked Fong being careful not to show his nervousness.
"Oh, I thought he would do the follow-up," said Tine now more disappointed that he won't be able to see him today, or if he does it will be from afar and he won't be able to talk to him.
"He is a surgeon, he doesn't do follow-ups unless it's some life and death issue, regular follow-ups are done by us," said Fong wrapping the BP machine on Tine's arm to check the result. "How are you feeling? Any pain, irritation, or discomfort after getting discharged?" asked Fong further doing his job.
Right, he was a damn surgeon. Why would he come for some small follow-ups? Thought Tine and something inside Tine died instantly. That's not what he expected but honestly, what did he really expect? Coming into the hospital unexpectedly injured and meeting his crush would make things easier for him. Cosmos didn't love him that much.
Tine was not used to being loved. He was used to doing things by himself most of the time. Constantly alone and not expecting anything from anyone, not that anyone ever gave him any love or support. He was used to being ignored and left aside. Not that he was the most approachable person one would ever meet, always quiet and on his own. Not until he was with his friends, because they were the only people who made him feel wanted ever.
So, Tine smiles sarcastically at himself for expecting that after one meeting he had any chance with the doctor. It was just a crush, a stupid crush that was supposed to end one day just like other crushes. But why does this one hurt, Tine didn't have the answer to that.
