Today was one of the nights where Lando found himself planning a man's evening with his friends. Since the summer break has ended, he didn't have a lot of time for himself, his interests and hobbies. You actually were the one forcing him to go out and have some fun and forget about the whole racing stress.

It was hard to convince him, but once he heard his friends plans, he automatically changed his mind and wanted to join. They were going to celebrate one of his friends birthday and go to a club, something Lando hasn't done in a while.

„Are you sure you will be fine? I can stay with you if you want baby. I don't really care." He tried to change his mind in the last minute, but you weren't going to give in.

„I am certainly sure I will be fine Lan, I am a grown 22 years old woman, who is responsible for herself. I want you to go out and have fun, at least a few hours. Please." You grabbed his arm, so he wouldn't leave and slightly pushed him into the direction of the door, forcing him outside.

„Alright, alright I will go, but I will be back in two hours, I am not in the mood for crowds today." He moved closer to you, embracing you in a loving hug, his lips pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. „I will miss you sweetheart." He mumbled against your skin.

„I will miss you too Lan, but I know you will be back in a few hours, that's why I won't worry about you and I want you to do the same, understood?" You talked a but firmer now, wanting him to repeat your words.

„Understood." He nooded his head, took his wallet and left without making any loud noises. You were simply happy to have some alone time, knowing he won't be alone too.

As the night went on, you were sitting in bed and reading a new book you just bought. Your hair messy in a bun and a oversized T-shirt on your body. You didn't pay attention to anything, not the time and not even the noises around you, cars driving by, people laughing, walking back home from parties.

As you glanced at your phone to see if there were any new notifications, you noticed the late hour, it was 2 am and you were still not asleep. You decided to put your book down for your own good and rest, simply laying down in bed and closing your eyes. 3 am, a noise in the kitchen woje you up, you could tell immediately that it was Lando, so you just waited in bed for him, knowing he would be tired and wanting to join you in bed, but as he opened the door of the bedroom, your eyes filled with worry, something you didn't expect to feel tonight.

„Love, what's wrong?" You quickly jumped out of bed, embracing him in a tight hug. The tears rolling down his cheeks truly hurt you to look at.

„Are you ok? Did something happen? Speak to me Lan." You worried and pulled away, so you could look him in the eyes, full of hurt.

„I, I am just so tired of all the hate." He struggled to pull himself together and tell what has been bothering him.

„Did something specific happen today?" You asked worried, thinking if it was about the club or even his friends. You played every possible scenario through your head.

„No, I just don't understand why it is so unfair. Why am I always not good enough?" He asked clearly hurt, wiping his eyes quickly, not wanting to seem weak.

„You don't need to act strong Lando when you don't feel the way. It is ok to not be ok sometimes, you know?"

„Is it really? Because every time I try to talk about it with my team, they don't seem to care."

„But I care and I will always care the most Lan, because you matter and you deserve to feel good."

I am truly pissed at McLaren if I am being honest. I really like Oscar, but I don't understand why they won't Lando let get more points than him when he is clearly the one fighting for the World Championship. I respect both of the drivers and don't hate on Oscar, I just don't think that it is fair. McLaren is the one messing everything up, not Oscar and Lando. They are destroying their mentality, just like Daniels.😕
