Lando Norris, the most popular boy in your school. He is known for his karting career and his excellent performance and the most important in your school, being the leader of the basketball team. Everyone has heard his name at least once, other boys admire him and want to be just like him. Even though he could be friends with anyone he wanted, he chooses to stay close with a small group of people, only his best mates from the team.

You a quiet and for sure not popular girl, preferred to keep your head down and not seek mych attention, but it all changed in a few months. You and Lando have been in a relationship for two months now. You wanted to keep it private and Lando respected your decision at first, but he was getting impatient. He wanted everyone to know that you were his, to show you off and be able to spend every second with you.

You were standing and chatting with a small group of your friends in the corner of the school. Your laughter and giggles filled the air and you couldn't help but notice Lando staring at you. He was with his mates having a chat as well. The bell rang signaling that the lunch break has started. A few seconds later you meet Lando's eyes again, he was approaching you.

„Would you like to eat lunch with us? My mates would love to have you with us."

„Lando you know I want to keep this private, at least for a bit more." You tried to explain the situation, but Lando didn't really like the idea of hiding things anymore.

He sighs softly as he steps closer to you and took your hand gently, his touch barely there and meant solely for the both of you.

„I know. I'm sorry. I know you said you needed more time. It's just... it's getting harder to hide." He says quietly, his thumb trailing along your hand.

„We've been dating in secret for two months. I'm starting to worry we're never going to be official, I have a reputation to uphold, a social image and I hate secrecy." He says, sighing and sounding resigned. Lando loved you, no doubt about that. He was just starting to tire of having to hide the relationship.

„Lando I-„ You spoke up, but got interrupted by him. His expression was a mixture of affection and frustration. He looked into your eyes, meeting your gaze, his thumb tracing small circles on your hand.

„I'm tired of this" , he confessed honestly, his tone a mix of frustration and vulnerability. „I'm tired of having to hide that I love you, that you're mine."

He held your hand a little tighter, his thumb continuing to trace those tender circles on your skin, a comforting rhythm in the midst of his words.

„I'm tired of seeing the glances, the way people whisper behind our backs because they think I'm playing with your feelings. We both know that's not true, but I hate that they might think that."

„Okay... we can stop hiding things, but I don't want you to act any different when you are with your friends, pretend that you are a different person when you are with me. I want the same you."

He shook his head, his expression turning reassuring and filled with warmth.

„Change? I wouldn't want to. I just want to be with you in the open, to be honest about my feelings. You're the reason I smile and the one person I can be myself with. I won't change. Promise."

„I love you Lando."

A soft breath escaped his lips, his expression filled with a gentle certainty. „I love you too, more than you could even know." He said, holding your hand softly and moving closer to you. „So... we're doing this?"

„Yes Lando. We are."

He felt his heart skip a beat, a mix of nerves and anticipation. A small smile spread across his face, his features lightened up with a sheer happiness. It was real. It was happening. He was about to be public with you.

„You're... wow. You're sure about that love?" He asked.

„Yes, I trust you."

Guys. I don't even know why i stopped writing 😭 Yeah anyways, I'll be continuing this book to 100 chapters and then when I think that I still have enough ideas, then I will start a new book.
