"Can I come in?" Hammie knocked softly on Blecker's door.
"Sure Hammie come in."
As the Shinobi Star entered she found Blecker in Lady Lucky form tinkering at her desk. The room still
had a bit of mess about it but she noticed the walls had pictures of not just the crew but people she never
met, smiling, flirty, all kinds of expressions and faces she never knew, and she stood there taking them all
in, "Who are all the people in these pictures?"
"Me from different points in life with my past friends," ther ewas no longer a bitter hardness in Blecker
voice but instead a warm reflection.
"Which is the real you?"
"All of them," Blecker purrs pointing to an ox girl, cat girl, dino girl, and dog boy (great Dane) from
different pictures, "My face," she laughs, "And even my sex may have changed but there are all pieces of
me."
"Looks like you had fun with them," Hammie nods, "Speaking of instincts...I wanted to~"
"To talk about Kotaro?"
Hammie nodded, "I know it wasn't long but the time I had your body in that last fight I wasn't thinking
about husband's and being a mom, just..." she looks away blushing, "I still remember those feeling, and
their intensity and it makes me embarrassed when I look at the boys."
Blecker nods, "That's the norm, but Kotaro talked about a much...cleaner instinct. And you want to know
why."
Hammie nods, shivering at her past thoughts, Blecker holding her close, "I'm terrified to image Kotaro
having such thoughts when he's so young."
Blecker nods, "Instincts don't care, to an animal you ready to breed not long after birth for most creatures.
Certainly for his age. What I suspect is he had those instincts but lacking the context of the greater deeds
his mind went latched onto the only concept of 'having babies' he understood, mother and wife. So his
body is screaming 'time to have babies' and his minds going 'oh its time to find a husband and be a wife
now' as the greater context was beyond him..." Blecker pauses, smiling wistfully, "Wish I could have that
level of innocence..instead of~"
Hammie shivered and nodded, "Instead of..."
The pair did not finish the thought out loud but shared it in their minds.
Hammie changed the subject, turning back to the pictures, "You must miss them terribly."
Blecker nods, "I do, even ignoring any carnal feelings I had at the time from my instincts they were my
friends and...family..."
"And your alone now," Hammie started to understand, "but you see their faces on Earth, but the don't
recognize the you that had these memories. That's...chilling."
"It's why I was so distant, the planet is my home, its worth protecting...but the people...they're strangers
wearing the faces of friends. Strangers I can never connect with."
Hammie was now the one holding a shivering Blecker, "You can connect with us."
Blecker nods, sobbing softly into Hammie's jacket, "And I'm grateful."
Hammie changed the subject, turning to the work table, "What you working on now?"
Blecker lite up like a tree, clearly excited by her work, "Oh a couple things, but the first is this new
Kyuutamma that swaps the gender of the target! Figured after everything we went through having a little
experience how the other half works wound not be a terrible idea. After that, since I have the most data
from being in his body, I'm working on making Bear Troops, sort of Copy Rangers to give to the
resistance so they can put up a stronger front on worlds where we can't be. They wont be as strong as true
Rangers but any boost should help tip the scales."
"Strong as Kyuu Violet? The commander's original form?"
Blecker shook her head, "Na that was definitely pushing the limit of a skill Kyuutamma, so a step below
that, but as a counter balance the resistance will be able to make multiple bear troops at once. I figure they
might need 3 to 5 to match the a real ranger but the point is they will have that kind of armor to call on
against Jark Matter."
Hammie smiled, "That sounds wonderful!"
Blecker purrs happily, "Thanks!"

Spada looked over curious to Kotaro as he helped him prepare the next meal for the ship, "I thought you
were back to normal, you never used to be interested in cooking, what changed."
Kotaro smiled, "Definitely nice to be back in my own body but I still remember what it was like to be a
girl dreaming of being a wife and I think that me mad good points. I should learn how to cook and clean
and all that mom stuff because I still have a brother to look out for and one day I'd like my wife to not
have to work so hard!"
Spada smiled, "Looks like you came out of that event wiser, always a good thing!"
Kotaro smiled, "Yup!"
