Sultan Osman had been feeling sick for months. It started out with a fever, and then coughing and coughing for months. He reassured me he was just sick, nothing too serious, until one day I overhead the Chief Physicians talking after visiting my love.

I was shocked.
I came up to them as everyone bowed.
"Sultana Behic." Chief Physician Ahmed said.
"What is this I heard about Sultan Osman's health?" I inquired of them.
"Well..." The doctors looked at each other. "Sultana, His Majesty's Hunkarim's health has been deteriorating quickly, and I fear if we don't operate or act urgently he may..."
I nodded. "Do what you must, please."
I turned around and left as tears began flowing from my eyes.
