"I'm sorry baba I'm so sorry" He whispered hugging her

Liam leaned his shoulder against the wall and blinked "You do know that's normal... Right?"

Zayn gave Liam a look "She's in pain, and I'm comforting her. Now leave us"

Liam shook his head "No..." He smiled and rested his head against the wall "It's cute"

Zayn kissed her head "We should give her ice cream"

Liam shook his head "She's 3 months old, Zee."

Zayn held onto her tighter "But she's in paaaain!!"

Liam gave him a look and Zayn frowned "There's really nothing? Nothing to calm her down or something?"

Liam stayed quiet then sighed "I did put her teething toy in the Fridge... It can help"

Zayn smiled "You're a superhero"

Liam smiled then kissed Zayn's cheek "I'm glad you think so, love"

"There's no other cabins currently available" Zayn said pacing

Liam frowned "What can we do?"

Zayn looked at Liam "We can go into the rooms inside?"

Liam gave him a look "It'll break her heart..." he shook his head "I can take the couch"

Zayn snorted "No, don't you even think about that; I'll take it"

Liam stood up "Let me pay you back for my half"

"No"

"Then no"

"Liam"

"Zayn"

They both glared at each other then quickly turned towards the entry way when Aileena ran in

Zayn sat her on a chair by the kitchen island to braid her hair while Liam spoke to her

They didn't look at each other but that didn't mean they ignored each other as they all ate

They still worked together for their daughter's sake, after dinner, they washed dishes then all sat together hearing her telling about her excitement before they eventually took her to bed

They covered her up and she whispered quiet 'I love you's to both before they walked out

Zayn was first and he turned to Liam who was quietly closing the door

"We can share" he whispered

Liam looked at him "You think so?" he whispered back

Zayn nodded "Yeah... We just have to make sure to be awake before she is"

Liam slowly nodded "I can manage that"

Zayn smiled and gave him a small tired smile "When will you stop saying I and start saying We?"

They slept on different sides of the bed, Liam took the side by the window and Zayn took the one by the door

They laid on the bed looking at the ceiling when Zayn suddenly spoke up

"This is awkward, isn't it?"

"Yeah" Liam replied quietly

They turned to each other at the same time "Why?" Zayn said raising both eyebrows

Liam put his arm under his head "Because, you recently got out of a very serious relationship"

Zayn rolled his eyes "Come on, we shared a bed after you and Jensen broke up"

Liam smiled "Jensen and I never got engaged, and we shared it because you're a good friend"

He rubbed a thumb on Zayn's cheekbone and Zayn closed his eyes

"And you're an even better ex, because someone else would've told me it's my fault"

Zayn shook his head, with his eyes still closed

"It wasn't"

Liam's eyes slowly opened when he heard a knock on the door, then he heard a quiet 'Dad, baba?'

Before his eyes shot open and he quickly sat up and turned to Zayn "Oi, wake up" He whisper yelled

Zayn just groaned and hid his face under the pillow.

Liam shook his head and got off of the bed, he fixed his clothes and his hair before he opened the door and picked Aileena up

She giggled and hugged him as he kissed her temple

"Sorry love, I just needed to wake baba up"

She nodded then furrowed her brows and tilted her head to the side "Where did you sleep?"

Liam pressed his lips together then shrugged "Now, I won't tell you so you won't come wake me up when you wanna have fun"

She giggled and nodded and Liam walked out of the room with her

"What will we do today?"

Liam looked out the window then at Aileena "How about some food then we go swimming for a bit?"

"You could've woken my up" Zayn mumbled slumping down beside Liam

Liam looked at him and raised his eyebrows "I tried to, before I made breakfast, and after... And as we were getting ready to leave"

Zayn blinked "Oh" Liam smiled and nodded "Uh, where's Aileena?"

Liam nodded towards Aileena who's in the kids side of the pool, swimming with other kids

Zayn looked at her and smiled "She's having fun"

Liam nodded "She wanted to go to the big pool, but she saw other people there and refused"

Zayn looked at Liam "What?"

Liam nodded "Yeah, she just refused and went into the smaller one"

Zayn hummed then stood up "Leena!!"

She looked and waved at him, the kids who were with her turned to Zayn and they all waved

Zayn motioned for her to come and she got out and ran towards him

Liam got the towel and wrapped it around her as she sat on his lap

Zayn smiled and kissed her cheek, she laughed and kicked her feet

Before he knelt down in front of her "Wanna go swim in the big pool?"

Her smile fell and she crawled into Liam's lap then shook her head "No... There's people"

Zayn smiled "There's always people, you learnt in a pool with people"

"Still" She said then looked up at Liam "Heeeeeeelp"

Liam looked at Zayn "She'll do it once she's ready"

She frantically nodded "Yeah!!"

Liam unwrapped the towel from around her then patted her back "Go back to your friends"

She kissed his cheek then quickly ran off, Zayn looked at her then at Liam and raised both of his eyebrows

Liam waved him off then picked up a book "She's a kid, she'll want to be where other kids are"
