Liam watched Zayn with their daughter, she was asleep in her crib but her hand wrapped around Zayn's finger so he refused to pull his hand away in case she woke up

Liam walked towards him and put a hand on Zayn's back, Zayn looked at him and smiled

"She won't wake up... I promise"

Zayn hesitated but carefully pulled his finger away, she made a sound but then continued to sleep soundlessly

Zayn then pulled Liam closer and kissed his cheek, temple then held onto him tightly

Liam buried his face into Zayn's neck and closed his eyes as he hugged him back just as tightly

Zayn then tilted Liam's face up and kissed him, Liam kissed Zayn back and smiled before he pulled away

"C'mon... You'll see her later"

Zayn looked at Aileena then at Liam, Liam smiled and shook his head

"I promise you Zee, as soon as she's awake you can run here and pick her up"

Zayn smiled and nodded, Liam lead him out of the room and closed the door

They were dancing in the kitchen, it first started off with music and Leena dancing but it slowly moved to Liam and Zayn both joining, They all laughed and enjoyed their time.

Liam shook his head and smiled "Alright, let's get you ready for the day"

Zayn looked at him "I can do it"

Liam looked at him "I will pluck your eyelashes out."

Zayn's eyes widened and he stepped back, Liam nodded once then turned to their daughter and smiled

She took his hand and giggled as they walked away, she looked up at him and smiled

"You scared baba..."

There's something about Liam seeing Aileena hanging off of Zayn's back

She would giggle and say that she's no longer Aileena and will only answer if she's addressed as backpack

And of course Zayn complied, holding onto her to make sure she doesn't fall yet constantly talking to his 'backpack' about what they should do today

"Backpack wants toyssssss"  she whispered

Liam chuckled "For who?"

"For backpaaaaaack" She whispered again

"But backpacks can't have toys" Zayn said, holding back his laughter

"Huh?" she said with a tilt to her head

"Yeah, backpacks don't have toys. They hold toys but they don't have any"

She stayed quiet then climbed over Zayn's shoulder then all the way to his front, he caught her and looked down

"What are you doing here, backpack?"

"It's Leena baba!!"

Liam fake gasped "Where did you go, Aileena?"

She smiled "I was here"

Zayn furrowed his brows "No you weren't"

"I was!!"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

"Yes"

"No"

She pouted then stretched her arms out to Liam "I don't like baba today"

Liam laughed and Zayn froze and gave her an offended look

"Hey..." he said as Liam took her

She held onto Liam "What does Niall say?"

Liam rubbed her back "He says a lot of things"

"That thiiiing!! The funny thing!!"

Liam chuckled "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes"

"Yeah!! Now say it to baba and tell him I'm not talking to him"

Liam laughed and looked at Zayn who was frowning

"You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes... And Leena isn't talking to you"

Zayn blinked "Now hold on-"

Liam raised a hand and looked at Aileena

"Do we hold on?"

"Nu-uh"

Liam looked at Zayn who had his arms crossed "Sorry, but no"

Zayn blinked and massaged his temple "Are you serious?"

Liam looked at their daughter "Are we being serious?"

"Uh-huh"

Liam looked at Zayn "Yes we are."

Zayn blinked and watched as Liam walked away, but from over Liam's shoulder, Ailenna looked at him

And stuck her tongue out

He was tickling her and she laughed out loud, she tried to push him off but only managed to escape from under his arm

She ran out and he followed, she laughed out loud having her arms out in front of her

She turned the corner and spotted Liam

"DAD SAVE ME!!" She yelling as she ran over towards him

Liam laughed and picked her up just as Zayn ran into the living room

He slowly walked towards them and Aileena laughed out loud holding onto Liam tightly

"He's coming!!" She squeaked

Zayn stood in front of Liam and Liam looked at him

"Give me the child"

Liam held onto her "I will not be giving you my child"

"Our child" He said then gave him a look and Liam forced his smile away "Liam"

"Zayn"

"Payne"

"Malik"

Before Zayn could say anything else, Liam took off in a run, and Zayn ran after him

They ran out of the cabin into the soft grass, Aileena laughed before Liam put her down after a few rounds around the cwbin

"Run, I'll stall him"

She nodded and ran, Liam stood and she ran inside

Liam turned around just as got closer, but Liam charged towards him and they both fell to the floor and laughed out loud

Liam laid down beside him, they both breathed heavily as they looked at the starry sky

"That was-"

"Yeah..." Liam said, they both turned towards the door and smiled when they saw Aileena looking at them through the cracks

Liam sat up and they both sat criss cross on the grass, she walked towards them and sat on Liam's legs

"Criss cross apple sauce"

Liam smiled and nodded "Yeah" He kissed her head

Zayn smiled at her "Will you talk to me now?"

She smiled "Chocolate?"

Zayn nodded "Anything you want"

She squeaked and smiled "Ok..."

Liam shook his head and gave Zayn a look, Zayn smiled and shrugged before he took Aileena and kissed her cheek

She smiled and rested her head on his shoulder, holding onto him tightly
