Oh, don't be such a baby," he teased, reaching out to ruffle the boy's hair affectionately. "It'll be fine. You'll see your friends, have some classes, and then come back here to me. That's not so bad, is it?"

Rayal pouted a bit more at Atlas's words, but deep down, he knew the man was right. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair again.

"I know, I know," he mumbled, his voice tinged with resignation. "It's just...I've missed Drake and Emily. And I want to spend time with them, you know?"

Atlas pulled Rayal into a tight hug, burying his face into the soft strands of his hair.

"Don't worry, babyboy," he murmured, his voice low and soothing. "You can spend time with your friends today. Just be careful and come back to me safely later, okay?"

Rayal nodded, feeling a sense of calm and contentment wash over him as he wrapped his arms around Atlas's waist.

"I will," he replied, his voice soft and gentle. "I promise."

With a final kiss to Rayal's forehead, Atlas stood up and ruffled his hair affectionately.

"Good," he said, his voice firm yet tender. "Now get ready and go to uni. I'll be here waiting for you when you get back."

Rayal groaned as he reluctantly got out of bed and headed into the bathroom to freshen up before leaving for uni.

He knew that going back to classes was not going to be fun, especially with Drake and Emily there to give him a hard time. But he also knew that Atlas was right - he couldn't skip classes forever, and he had to face his friends eventually.

With a deep breath, he left the house and started his walk to the campus.

As Rayal walked onto campus, he was ambushed by Drake and Emily, who came running up to him and engulfed him in a tight hug.

"Where have you been, Ray-Ray!?" Emily exclaimed, her voice tinged with worry and relief. "We were so worried about you!"

Rayal looked over at Drake, who was standing next to Emily with a wide smile on his face. He knew that Drake had always been the more perceptive one among his friends, so it didn't surprise him that he knew about his situation with Atlas.

"I, uh, I've been staying with my new...roommate," he replied awkwardly, his voice tinged with a hint of nerves. "It's a long story, but I'm fine, really."

Drake grinned even wider at Rayal's words, looping his arm around Emily's shoulder.

"Speaking of new roommates, Emily and I have some news to share with you," he said, his voice filled with excitement. "We're...dating now."

Rayal's eyes widened in surprise at Drake's words, and he couldn't help but let out a gasp of delight.

"What?!" he exclaimed, looking between Drake and Emily with a mix of surprise and joy. "Are you serious? That's amazing! I'm so happy for you both!"

Emily blushed prettily at Rayal's enthusiastic response, and she snuggled closer to Drake's side.

Drake laughed as he ruffled Rayal's hair affectionately. "Thanks, buddy. We're pretty happy about it too."

Emily nodded in agreement, her eyes sparkling with joy. "We wanted to tell you right away," she said, her voice tinged with warmth. "You're our best friend, and we wanted you to be the first to know but we couldn't contact you."
