Lana's POV
I took Tedros' hand in mine as we walked at the side of the Lake, giving him a chance to catch his breath before I spoke, softly of course "Teddy, what's wrong?" I ask, finally stopping to sit on a flower decorated mahogany bench under a tree. I turn to face him "have you been crying?" I ask again, feeling his cheeks, as he tried dodging my fingertips before he gave in and pressed my palm against his cheek. I blushed and was about to jerk it away when he started to speak.
"I'm just... scared" he admitted and I had to be confused on that. "Scared of what, Teddy boy?" He grabs my arm and places it between his palms, rubbing my palm with his thumb like it gives him comfort. He looks in my eye reluctantly as he confesses "I'm scared of girls". I gave him a look that meant Whaaaaa and he looks away at the glimmering lake before he starts to speak again "They all want me, they fight over me but mostly they wanna be queens and princesses, I mean, what if I choose a wrong girl? What if I end up like my father? What if my wife leaves me and my child never gets to have a proper childhood? What if I die? What if-" I cut him up by placing a finger on his lips "Tedros, none of that is going to happen, surely you'll find someone. I mean, not every girl likes you for your status surely. I'm a girl and I don't like you for that. I like you for you -- as a friend of course -- but you'll definitely find someone, okay? So don't get all het up about it. It'll be okay, your dad was just a mistake, okay?"
I take my hand off his lips after he nods and my gaze drifts to his lips for a second before I avert it again. I can't surely... Nope. Can't be happening. He's my best friend. He gets up and murmurs something and I didn't catch it so I raise an eyebrow "humma?" He rolls his eyes and stares right at me "I might have already found the right girl. She probably just doesn't know it yet" at this confession, a smirk creeps on to my face and I walk up to him and stand on tiptoes before I whisper in his ear "you've got a cruuuushh. Who's it??" I jump about childishly as I look at his red face. I giggle at his expression as we walk back to the dorms.

Tedros' Pov
I stare at Lana as she twirls around like a giddy schoolgirl (which she is). I secretly thought (hoped) she was gonna kiss me when she leaned into me to whisper into my ear the other time. She is so beautiful and doesn't know I'm talking about her, at least I hope she doesn't know.

Back to Lana's POV
I roll around and around until I feel dizzy and the world starts to twirl in circles round me so sit on the floor as I make a few guesses at who he liked "is it.... Reena? Or Millicent? Or Kiko? Nah Kiko's too sweet for you. You're naaasty" I say and Tedros gasps mockingly "I'm jokinggg" and suddenly a burst of realisation hit me and I stare at him seriously. He suddenly stops smiling and looks like he's gonna shit his pants "oh. My gosh" I gasp "is it..." I look him in the eyes "Beatrix?? Cuz that girl is not your type and definitely could do better" he looks relieved and then chuckles "relax it's not her" he rolls his eyes and walks up to me as I get up off the floor, my dizzy spell off.
"In fact" he continues "it's..." He reaches down to me "someone you possibly know, ha!" He finishes as he picks me up on his shoulder. I giggle and start to bash his back repeatedly "Put me down, you hunky beast!" He laughs "girl do you weigh like, 30kgs? Cuz I am not feeling this weight" I gasp in mock shock and hit his back once more "45kgs actually and let me down, everyone's gonna see my underwear!!" I shout again ineffectively "don't worry, the shame will pass" he replies "TEDROS UTHER PENDRAGON, PUT ME DOWN RIGHT THIS INSTANT OR I WILL DRIVE MY HEELS THROUGH YOUR EYES!" I screech and he puts me down, laughing with tears in his eyes "Stop that's actually scary" he chokes out, still laughing and I give him a deadpan look, jokingly "It won't be when you're blind and the only thing you can see are the heels of my 6 inch stilettos".
We continue to joke as we walk up to my dorm door. We get there and I turn back, almost jumping backwards as I saw he was right in front of me. He jumps back awkwardly and scratches his neck "oh...um...sorry I...sorry" I look at his eyes and pull him to me, burying my face in his chest "I missed you, the royal business you have to attend to didn't spare you any time for me" he pulls me back and looks down at me "I'm sorry, i wanted to see you but they didn't let me. I'm so sorry" I sigh "it's fine, you better go cuz the fairies will be up any second" he nods...almost reluctantly and backs away waving. I watch him leave and realisation hit me.
I couldn't possibly...like like Tedros, could I? I mean, he does make me go all tingly ins- ohhhh
I walk into my dorm and notice all my roomies eyes on me. Except one, you can have a wild guess. "you like himmmm" Beatrix taunts and they all pressure me by shipping me and Tedros until I fall asleep, wondering where Agatha was.
