I am sitting in an apartment at the ADA Dormitory. No not in Dazai's place, but right next to him. Joining the Armed Detective Agency turned out to be easier than I had expected.
When Dazai asked me why I wanted to join here, I simply replied,
"If I am going to live, at least I want to Be on the side where i can save people."*
To my surprise my words seemed to resonate with him. His usual playful expression turned into something between shock and surprise.
From that moment on, I hardly had to lift a finger. Dazai took all the responsibilities convinced the president Fukuzawa Yukichi, to accept me into the agency.
It felt so unreal to have a place to stay and be part of something meaningful. As I lay on my bed, reflecting the day, I eventually drifted off to sleep.
Dazai's P.O.V:
Dazai lay on his bed gazing at the ceiling his cheeks slightly flushed as thoughts of Tsuneko crossed his mind. It was unusual for him to blush so easily, but he couldn't help it. Her long brown hair flowed beautifully in the wind, and she looked Mesmerising against the warm hues of the sunset. the mere thought that her apartment was just next door made his heart race. He found himself torn between the desire to reach out and the hesitation that held him back.
what truly captivated him were her eyes—there was a depth to them that felt familiar, as if they were hiding emotions he recognized all too well.
He could see the same guarded expression in her gaze, a reflection of his own inner struggles.
While thinking about her he slowly drifted off to sleep.
