A Dark Prophecy~ warrior cats fanfic

Chapter 6

Looking around, Silverpaw saw an apprentice sitting all alone. She padded up to the cat. "Hi, I'm Silverpaw" She began. "Im Blazepaw" Blazepaw began shyly. "Why are you alone?" Silverpaw asked. "All my friends are talking to other clans" Blazepaw told her. "We cam be friends if you like" Silverpaw told her. "Sure" Blazepaw replied. A loud yowl from Poppystar signalled the beginning of the gathering. The chatter of cats died down. Silverpaw settled next to Blazepaw. "Thunderclan is doing well, we have new kits and strong warriors" Poppystar informed everyone before sitting down. "Prey is running well I'm Riverclan aswell and soon we will have two more apprentices" Windstar said before settling next to Otterstar. Otterstar stood up for his turn. "We have four new warriors, Winterfrost, Moonstripe,  Thistlebush and Frogleap. As well as new warriors we have four new apprentices, Silverpaw, Ferretpaw, Sparrowpaw and Adderpaw" He began. "We would also like to asked some questions" he glanced at Flowerstar before continuing. "Flowerstar, why has Shadowclan been stealing our prey and why did you attack us earlier today" Otterstar asked. Flowerstar stepped forward. "Prey is scarce in Shadowclan but that does not mean we are weak" She told everyone. "Doesn't mean they should attack us" Silverpaw hissed in Blazepaws ear. "You shouldn't have attacked us" Otterstar argued. "We will not answer any more questions on this topic" Flowerstar hissed stubbornly. "Then the gathering is over" Poppystar concluded. Otterstar sighed and leaped off of the branch.

"See you around" Silverpaw mewed to Blazepaw. "Yep" Blazepaw replied before padding away to join her clan. Silverpaw bounded over to Thistlebush who was waiting next to Otterstar. He flicked his tail over her ear in acknowledgment. The patrol padded over the Tree Bridge and headed back to camp.

As they entered the camp Silverpaw, Sparrowpaw, Ferretpaw and Adderpaw padded up to Thunderheart and Puddlesplash. "How was your first gathering?" Thunderheart asked. "It was amazing! Otterstar confronted Shadowclan about the attack but they wouldn't talk about it!" Sparrowpaw exclaimed. Thunderheart and Puddlesplash exchanged a worried glance. "That's exciting" Puddlesplash replied. "I made anew friend called Blazepaw!" Silverpaw boasted. "Wow making friends at your first gathering" Thunderheart sounded pleased. "You should have seen it!" Ferretpaw complained to Thunderheart and Puddlesplash. "Silverpaw!" Bluemoon called. "See you later" Silverpaw meowed before bounding away. "We are on the hunting patrol" Bluemoon informed her. "Sounds like a plan" Silverpaw replied. Rainbowheart, Stonestripe and Smokecloud came bounding over. "Everyone ready?" Rainbowheart asked. "I am" Silverpaw replied eagerly. With a nod of his head, Rainbowheart padded out of camp with the others following. "Bluemoon you can go toward the lake with Silverpaw, Stonestripe and Smokecloud you two can go near the Thunderclan border but be careful and I'll stay near here" Rainbowheart ordered. Silverpaw followed Blumoon as she started to pad away towards the lake. Bluemoon dropped Into a crouch and stalked away. Silverpaw opened her jaws slightly and scented a hare. She dropped into a hunters crouch. As soon as she saw the hare, it bolted away but Silverpaw gave chase until she pounced and killed it with a swift bite. She padded back to Bluemoon. She dropped her prey and kicked dirt over it. Opening her jaws once again, she tracked down a rabbit. She pounced but the rabbit was too quick for her. "Mousedung!" She hissed. "Unlucky" Bluemoon said from behind her. "We should head back it's almost Sundown" Bluemoon told her. "Ok" Silverpaw replied, picking up her prey. They padded back to camp and Silverpaw brought her rabbit to Shrewflight who was washing by the Tallrock. "Thank you, Silverpaw" He said. "No problem" She mewed before padding away........
