At home, Sakura and Sasuke were preparing for their long and dangerous mission. The room was quiet, filled only with the sound of packing and the occasional rustle of clothing. Sakura carefully folded a spare medical kit into her bag while Sasuke checked his weapons.

Sarada, their daughter, stood at the doorway, watching her parents with a concerned look on her face. She had overheard bits and pieces of their conversation and knew they were about to leave for something important.

"Mom, Dad ... where are you going?" Sarada asked, her voice soft but filled with curiosity and worry.

Sakura turned to her daughter with a gentle smile, trying to ease her fears. "Sarada, your father and I have to go on a mission to help the village. It's very important."

Sarada frowned, clearly not satisfied with that answer. "But... will you be gone for a long time? When will you come back?"

Sasuke knelt down in front of Sarada, placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We'll be back as soon as we can. You're strong, Sarada. Just like your mother. Take care of everything while we're gone."

Sarada looked into her father's eyes, trying to be brave. "I will. Just... please come back soon."

Sakura walked over and wrapped her arms around Sarada, pulling her into a hug. "We promise. And don't worry, Uncle Naruto will be here to watch over you."

After a moment, Sasuke stood up, and Sakura released her daughter, giving her one last reassuring smile before heading to the door. Sasuke paused, looking back at Sarada one last time. "We'll be back before you know it," he said softly, then followed Sakura out the door.

As they left their home and made their way to the village gate, the atmosphere between Sakura and Sasuke grew more intense. They both knew the risks ahead, but they also knew they could rely on each other.

Sakura glanced at Sasuke, a soft smile tugging at her lips. "You know," she said, "even after all these years, I'm still amazed by how much you've changed."

Sasuke looked at her, his expression serious but with a hint of warmth in his eyes. "And you... you've always been strong. Stronger than you realize."

There was a brief pause as they walked side by side, the connection between them deep and unspoken. Sakura gently reached out, her hand brushing against his. Sasuke glanced at her, then intertwined his fingers with hers for a moment, a rare gesture of affection.

"I'm glad I have you with me,Sasuke-kun" Sakura whispered.

They shared a brief, tender kiss, savoring the moment of peace before the storm. Then, with a final glance at their home, they donned the cloaks that would conceal their identities as they prepared to leave.

.......

At the gates of Konoha, Naruto was waiting for them. The night air was cool, and the village was peaceful, unaware of the dangerous mission about to unfold. Naruto handed the ancient scroll to Sasuke, his expression serious.

"This is it. Once the scroll is activated, there's no turning back," Naruto said, his voice steady, though his eyes showed concern.

Sasuke nodded, his grip on the scroll firm. "We're ready."

Sakura gave Naruto a small, reassuring smile. "Take care of the village while we're gone, Naruto."

Naruto nodded, but his usual smile was missing. "You two just come back safe, alright? We'll be waiting."

Sasuke and Sakura stepped forward, standing just beyond the village gates. Sasuke began channeling his chakra into the scroll, and it started to glow . At first, everything seemed to be working as planned. The scroll shimmered, and a surge of energy began to build.

But then, without warning, the scroll's power spiraled out of control. A violent stream of chakra exploded from it, swirling around them with terrifying intensity. The energy formed a vortex, and before Naruto could react, Sasuke and Sakura were pulled into it.

"Wait!" Naruto shouted, reaching out, but it was too late. The vortex swallowed them whole, and in an instant, they were gone—vanished into the swirl of chakra.

Naruto stood frozen for a moment, staring at the empty space where his friends had been. He clenched his fists, hoping that wherever Sasuke and Sakura had gone, they would return safely.
