I began telling my story, starting with a day from my childhood...
*I was in my room, getting ready for school, feeling excited because it was a basketball match in my school today and I love basketball matches .Well I was in middle school. Then My mom called out to me for breakfast, and after finishing up, I grabbed my school bag and headed downstairs. I sat down to eat breakfast where my dad was already seated. I greeted him with a cheerful "Good morning," and he replied with love and warmth. Meanwhile, my mom was busy packing my lunch.
As we were eating, my dad asked my mom, "Did you talk to Austin?" Austin is my brother, who lives and studies abroad. He loves me a lot, though we argue sometimes when he's home, just like any other sibling bond. I snapped out of my thoughts as my mom replied, "Yes, I talked to him yesterday. He's doing well." My dad nodded, saying, "That's good to hear."
After finishing breakfast, my dad left for the university where he works as a science professor. I grabbed my lunch, said goodbye to my parents, and headed out to catch the school bus. On the bus, I found myself thinking about how much my parents and brother love me, and I felt so grateful to have a family like them.
A few moments later, the bus stopped at a traffic signal, pulling me out of my thoughts. I looked out the window and noticed a little boy struggling to tie his shoelaces. He looked like he was about to cry. Just then, a boy, who seemed to be slightly older than me, walked over, knelt down, his hair slightly flying as the wind touches them softly and tied the little boy's shoelaces. He smiled at the boy and gently patted his head. Seeing his smile made me feel something strange, something I had never felt before. I found myself smiling too, but I couldn't get a clear look at his face. I tried, but the angle was wrong, and soon after, he got up to leave, and my bus started moving again. I eventually gave up trying to see him, but for some reason, that boy kept lingering in my mind.
When I arrived at school, I got off the bus and headed to my class, still thinking about what I had witnessed at the traffic signal. As I walked into the classroom, those thoughts were swirling in my head. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder from behind, and I instantly knew it was none other than my best friend, Anna. We had been friends since childhood, always sharing everything with each other and understanding one another deeply. She asked me, "What were you daydreaming about?"
I quickly replied, "Oh, it's nothing." Then I teased her, "Why don't you ever just walk into class quietly? You always start with your drama."
She grinned and said, "Well, that's my job!" Her response made me laugh, and for a moment, I was able to forget about the mysterious boy who had occupied my thoughts.
.........
After a while, our teachers told us that we were going to watch a basketball match on the school ground. Anna and I were thrilled because we both loved basketball. We headed down to the ground, and soon the match began. We cheered for all the players, but when it was our school's team's turn, we screamed with excitement.
As the match started, our team played exceptionally well, and we were all on the edge of our seats, cheering them on. Suddenly, my eyes fell on a boy who was playing really well. There was something familiar about him. Then, as he turned around, I was completely taken aback-it was the same boy I had seen at the traffic signal that morning. I hadn't been able to get a good look at his face back then, but I recognized him immediately now. His presence made my heartbeat quicken, and as I stared at him, it felt like I had never seen anyone so perfect in my life. His height, his hair, his smile, his face-everything about him seemed flawless. And then there was his kind nature, the way he had helped that little boy with his shoelaces-it all made him seem even more incredible. The longer I looked at him, the more I found myself getting attracted to him.
Just then, Anna suddenly shouted, asking me what was going on. I snapped out of my thoughts, but I didn't tell her what was really going on. I wasn't even sure why I was feeling this way. I quickly pointed back to the match, saying, "Look, look, we're winning!" We both focused back on the game, and after a while, the match ended with our school as the winner. Our team was awarded the trophy, and we all headed back to our classrooms with our teachers.
Not long after, the school day ended, and Anna and I left together. Her house was close to the school, so she went home with her mom, who had come to pick her up and I greeted her then I said goodbye as she left, and then waited for my bus. When it finally arrived, and just as I was about to get on, a boy accidentally bumped into me, causing the water bottle in my hand to fall to the ground. I was about to pick it up when, out of nowhere, the boy I had been thinking about all day appeared. He picked up my bottle, handed it to me, and said, "Sorry." I took the bottle from him awkwardly, not saying anything, just looking down because as soon as our eyes met, I felt a strange sensation that I couldn't quite understand. He left after that, and I boarded the bus to head home. The entire ride, I couldn't stop thinking about him, wondering why I couldn't get him out of my mind, and why I was so consumed by thoughts of him.
When I got home, I called out for my mom. She told me to change my clothes because she was preparing lunch. I quickly changed and then had lunch. After that, I went to my room, lay down on my bed, and fell asleep, exhausted from the day. I woke up in the evening and started studying. As the sun was setting, my dad came home. We all had dinner together, and he asked me about my day at school then he asked how my exam preparation was... then I said,"it's going good dad I'm completing my syllabus and learning it" then he replied ," um...that's very good, I know you're a hardworking child I believe that you will do well " then I smiled at him and nodded my head. After dinner, I went back to my room and continued studying, with exams just around the corner. After a while, I went to bed, but even as I tried to sleep, thoughts of that boy lingered in my mind but calmed my mind and tried my best to sleep and after sometime fell asleep.
The next morning, I woke up to the sound of my alarm and went through my usual routine-getting ready for school, having breakfast, and saying goodbye to my parents before leaving for the bus. But today, I felt a different kind of excitement bubbling inside me. It wasn't because anything special was happening at school; it was because I knew I was eager to see someone. And I knew exactly who that someone was.
When I arrived at school, I went straight to class and sat with my best friend. But as soon as lunch break started, I found myself wandering around the school grounds with her, hoping to catch a glimpse of him somewhere. I kept looking around, my eyes scanning every corner, every group of students, but he was nowhere to be found. Anna noticed the change in my behavior because I never usually roamed around like this at school. She could tell that I was searching for someone, but she didn't say anything.
After lunch, we returned to our classes, and the rest of the school day passed by in a blur. When it was finally time to go home, I felt a wave of disappointment wash over me. The person I had been so eager to see was nowhere in sight. With a heavy heart, I boarded the bus and went back home. As soon as I got there, I went straight to my room, telling my mom that I was too tired and needed to sleep. I didn't even feel like talking or doing anything else.
The rest of my day passed in a sort of haze. I studied for a while, had dinner with my family, and then went to bed. But even though I tried to focus on my studies and daily routine, I couldn't shake off the feeling of disappointment. The day had ended without me getting to see him, and that thought lingered in my mind as I drifted off to sleep.
