Cyrus was remotely curious as to why there were so many files and folders scattered around the hollow house. the house was plain and only had the requirements it needed like, a dining room table, bed, stove, counters, and pretty much everything else was plain.
Cyrus looked up at the older man. the man sighed and said in a serious tone that made Cyrus shiver. "I'ma detective an I'm working on a case from the 1980s. the culprit never was found, the only ever evidence we got had no leads. The murderer managed to give us false clues about himself to mess with us. Every clue did't match up with the other, therefore meaning the culprit will never be found. even after mah retirement I will still work on this case, for the sakes of thus families of victims an the victims themselves."
Cyrus spoke up, "hm.. that's interesting.. now I'm curious do you know anything else?" Cyrus spoke in a curious tone even after he felt a tiny bit uneasy. Cyrus looked over at the older man, the resident frowned. his grey hair glistening as it reflected off of the lightbulb. His accent seemed even more noticeable now, since he couldn't pronounce simple words like and.
suddenly the older man spoke again but in a hushed tone, as if he was scared to talk about it. "back then in the 1980s, I was an young adult in mah early 20s. One day I had to take on the most gruesome an hardest case of o'l time.. First it start'd with the school.. an now it manifested throughout London, England. Taking the lives of many individuals. o'l of whom had once been in a small town called "Celar brock." in London."
The older man took a deep breath before continuing. "Ye should't have been wandering these streets, boy. The killer still lurks you know. yer either incredibly stupid or very brave for a boy yer age, walking through the mist and fog. With that disgusting killer still around these parts."
Cyrus spoke up. "what did you mean by, first it was the school?" Cyrus was generally confused. he didn't understand what he meant by first it was the school. what happened to the school? why didn't they have any suspects? who is this killer?
The older man looked down and frowned even more than before. the resident started shaking his head in a ashamed gesture, before looking up. the older man spoke up, "Nobody really knows.. an what I meant by first it was the school.. I meant the killer murdered the school and proceed'd to kill locals for his own excitement. The murderer is still around, especially in these parts since its one town away from "Celar Brock".
Cyrus was surprised... no way someone could kill a whole school. there would've had to been survivors right? his only question he could muster out was, "How long did it take..?" The older man looked down at his feet while sitting on the couch with Cyrus.
he spoke in a rather quiet way to hush the secrets he was about to reveal. "we think a day... or maybe at most...a few hours."
