The alleyway..

As Cyrus was darting through the crowded hallways dodging people and going around them, he felt a sharp pain in his legs. He had ran for too long and was now paying the price. It was around 1pm now. Two more hours before he had to walk home. He had become a bit slower than he had been earlier but he still had some adrenaline to leech onto.

Since it was 1pm however, meant he still had two hours of school. This day was a mess.. The worst day of Cyrus's life would probably be this day now. Cyrus was still running. He had no choice but to leave the school building and go home.

That was the only way he'd lose the three bullies still on his tail. His bullies, Keisha, Mark, and Taylor had gotten slowly behind since they stopped for 5 seconds to take a breath.. which didn't help them but they knew they had to get to Cyrus, And even though he was running at full speed the bullies just kept almost getting close to him.

The one thing Cyrus thought was, There was an exit by west wing where he was at. As Cyrus ran towards the exit he felt his legs give out... He fell... Right before he made it to the exit. He tried getting up but his legs were glued to the ground. In a matter of seconds he managed to hold onto something as he speed walked out of the building.

Cyrus's legs hurt so bad it was unbearable. Blood soaked through his pants in the knee areas.. He cut open his knees when he fell. Cyrus had a limp from earlier in the breakfast room from his bullies, But now it was worse. As Cyrus limped out of the exit door he was met with a foggy sky and water dripping from the clouds. Cyrus was about to limp forward when lightning struck causing him to stumble and squeal out of surprise.

He fell again scraping his arms this time. Cyrus's arms were bleeding slightly now from it. He hurt really badly but he couldn't stop because if he did, his bullies would give him a beating he'd remember for life. All Cyrus could do was limp forward and hope for the best that maybe, just maybe he'd be fast enough to escape from the dreadful encounter.

He couldn't see anything... It was too foggy.. How would he even make it home? Him making it home in this condition seemed impossible. Cyrus just wanted to fall down and start crying but he pushed through...

Even though it hurt he kept limping towards his house. Or at least he thought the direction he was going was towards his house...As he walked slowly still with a limp he had just realized he was going the wrong way.

Cyrus didn't even know that until now because he saw a street sign he had never seen before. Cyrus facepalmed himself in that moment. He had walked for what seemed to be an eternity to realize he was going the wrong way.

It was too foggy to realize that earlier but now that Cyrus did, he had no way of knowing where he was at. His backpack was still in his locker. Cyrus's backpack had his phone in it. As well as his pocket knife.

There was no way he'd knock on people's doors to find his way home though. He hated interacting, he thought it was stupid and irrational. Cyrus was cold now.. The breeze started kicking up a lot and the fog just got worse.

It looked darker than it should've been. It was probably two by now and it look like it was already 6pm on an average day... Cyrus stood by the street lamp. It lit up now because it started getting darker even though it was still early afternoon.

Cyrus could barely walk now and he had to sit down somewhere.. His legs were aching and trembling. However he did lose the 3 bullies since the bullies didn't want to find him through the fog.

He stood there by the street lamp and the street sign. Cyrus saw an alleyway that he could've sat in. Cyrus limped over there and fell straight to the ground once he did so. Cyrus leaned against the pavement of the alleyway wall, tears streaming down his face. Cyrus's tears fell down his face onto the already wet pavement.

The rain had already stopped a few minutes ago. There were still marks from the rain though. Cyrus's hair was damp now from the rain and the milk that was dumped into him.
