Taehyung sat in the dimly lit living room, his heart heavy as he faced Fatima. His words had come out more forcefully than he intended, but they were the truth he could no longer avoid. “Fatima,” he began, his voice low and strained, “I don’t think we can continue like this… not anymore.”
Before he could say more, Fatima’s eyes flared with anger, and she swiftly grabbed him by the collar, yanking him closer with a force that took him by surprise. “You think you can just say that and walk away?” she hissed, her voice trembling with a mix of rage and desperation. “You have no idea what I’ve sacrificed, what I’ve done to be with you. You don’t get to throw that all away!”

Taehyung’s breath caught in his throat as he looked into her eyes, now filled with a wild intensity. “Fatima, I—” he began, but she cut him off sharply.
“Don’t you dare!” she spat, her grip tightening on his collar. “You don’t get to play the victim here, Taehyung. I’ve done everything—everything—to keep us together. You think you can just walk away? After all these years, after everything I’ve done to hold onto you?”
Taehyung felt a pang of guilt, but it was quickly overshadowed by the realization that this confrontation had been a long time coming. “Fatima, listen to me,” he tried again while sobing a little, keeping his voice as calm as he could manage. “I know you’ve sacrificed a lot, but this isn’t healthy for either of us. We’re tearing each other apart.”

“Tearing each other apart?” Fatima echoed with a bitter laugh, her eyes flashing with fury. “You think you know what pain is, Taehyung? You have no idea what I’ve been through! I’ve fought for you, for us, and I’m not about to let that all go to waste!”
Taehyung swallowed hard, feeling the weight of her words. “What do you mean?” he asked, his voice softening as he searched her eyes for some kind of explanation.
