The Gladers Love Tale

Jealousy.

The box comes up early, and it confuses everyone but they rush over to the box.
"Thomas, you can have a look at the greenie today" Alby says, as all the boys look at Thomas, but he nods and opens the box, jumping in, then he looks up shocked,
"It's a girl." Everyone gasps in shock and disbeleif.
The girl gasps for breath before going unconcious again.
"Take her to the Med-Jack's hut!"
Thomas says as Jeff and Clint come get her out of the box. Newt notices a small glint of love in Thomas' eyes when he looks at the girl, Newt can't help but be jealous, he doesn't know why though.
Its been a few days in the glade, the girl had woken up, her name was Teresa, she had lovely black hair and brown eyes, her and Thomas always stuck together and it made Newt jealous, he wanted to punch Teresa, tell her that Thomas was his, and tell her to fuck off.
But there was two things stopping him, the rules, and Thomas. Newt sits in his hut, lost in thought, until someone knocks,
"Come in." Newt mumbles as no other than thomas walks in, looking worried.
"You haven't been in the gardens as much lately, is everything ok?" , Newt nods hesitantly, not wanting to worry Thomas.
"How are you and Teresa?" Newt mumbles, looking away.
"We're doing good, she's really pretty, i might like her." As Thomas says those last four words, Newt freezes, it feels like his whole world has collapsed... Thomas notices, getting more worried during the seconds that pass.
"Newt..?" Thomas says quietly.
"Go." Newt says, his voice a bit cold, but mostly disappointed. Thomas notices the dissappointment in Newt's voice and it crushes him.
"Newt..." Thomas says, his voice almost a whisper.
"I said go Thomas." Newt repeats his voice hoarse with emotion, all different emotions swirling in his head. Anger, disappointment, betrayal even.
