[Brittany
I pull up into my dad's house. I live with my dad most of the time, with my bitchey step mother. I only ever see my mom on the weekends. My parents despise eachother, sometimes my dad would ban me from seeing my mom as punishment. Because apparently she was "putting things into my head" or something. I loved my mother. I hated my father.
I step out of my car, grabbing my cheer bag and making my way to the porch. I grab my keys from my pocket, and unlock the door. I'm met with the stairs leading to the second floor. As well as my step mother, Brenda. Sitting at the dinner table with a glass of wine. Her short blonde hair is in curls sitting on her shoulders.
"Hey Brenda." I greet her, taking off my sneakers. I make my way to the kitchen. "Where have you been? You weren't answering your phone." she asks in a stern voice. I open the fridge, rolling my eyes to where she can't see. I turn my head to look at her. I smiled, "cheer practice." I turn back around, trying to find something to drink. "Don't be eating anything before dinner sweetheart." she says to me lifting her glass to her red lips. I grab a water and motion it towards the air so she sees. She only looks at me and hums. "Me and your father are going out tonight." she explains looking out the window. I lean against the island, opening my water. "So I heard." I say before sipping my water. "Are you still going to that party tonight?" she asks me, still no eye contact. "Yes. It'll be at Tiff's house." I lied. "Great." she says back. Their was silence.
"well, I'm off to do homework." I say making my way to the stairs. My paws making the stairs creak. I make my way to my room across the Hall. I push open the door. I'm met with a tidy room. My canopy bed sitting in the middle. My vanity tidy. My bookshelf dusted. My dresser organised. I sat my cheer bag down by my bed. I fall into my soft and fluffy bed. Pulling out my phone. I call Tiffany. The line rings. Than stops, the line connecting-"Hi sweetheart." she says softly
"Hi Tiff, I'll be over soon I have homework than I'll get ready."
-"alright, take your time no rush."
"Yeah, I see you later."
-"bye sweetheart."
She hangs up. It was a simple pool party at one of the Jocks "spare house" he called it. I didn't know how to entirely feel about it. But I was going with Tiffany, so I'm sure it'll be okay. I grab a lace dress cover up out of my step in closet and set it neatly with a new swimsuit to match.
I start the shower. The cold water aginst my fur. I get out. Slip on my suit and cover up. I put my hair up and do my make-up. I check my phone it was already 8pm. Tiff should be here soon. I thought. I slip on my flip flops and put on some lipgloss. I softly open my door. Closing it I head downstairs. The silence filling the house.
I wait out on the porch until Tiffany came. Her car pulls in and I get up walking to the door. I slip in the passenger seat. Sweet perfume filled my snout. "Hey babes, you look great." she says as she backs out of the driveway. I look out the window shrugging it off. Something felt off about tonight, I just couldn't place it. I'm usually excited about parties.
We get to the house. She turns the engine off and I slip out of the door. I carry the beer. I could hear the music from the backyard. We took a shortcut through the gate. I put on my best smile as we get into the view where everyone can see us.
Everyone cheers and I hear whooping. "The party's hereee!" I shout raising a box of beer.
The parties in full swing by midnight. I found myself In the kitchen. Trying to find something to eat. My stomach growling. Brenda never let me eat, her excuse was because cheer. But I'm nearly over being underweight. It slowly developed into a eating disorder. I open the fridge, bending to look deeper into the fridge.
Suddenly I feel a warm hand on my ass. I assumed it was chad. "Chad quit it." say loud enough. I turn around and I'm met with a tall brownheaded dog. I noticed him from the football team. "Oh, sorry I thought you were Chad." I say faking a giggle. He smiles down at me. "How are you, Brittany?" he asks. He pins me to the fridge. His hand next to my head. "I'm, okay? Sorry do I know you?" I say sternly. If this dude think he can get into my pants, he's got another thing coming. "No, but I know you." he says in my ear. Putting his free hand on my waist.
My neck fur stood up. This guy was tall. It scared me. Where was chad when you need him. I gulped. "You better let me go before I call my father on you." I whisper in a harsh tone growling. He moves his hand to my hair and grips it. "Don't you talk to me like that, do you know who I am." he says snapping. My breathing fastened. My heart dropped. I was so scared. What the hell do I do. I try to shout for help but suddenly he shuts my mouth with his paw and slams my head into the fridge. I let out a whimper. The blood rushing through my viens. My eyes teared up. His hand goes up my thigh. I change my stance and kick him in the groan.
A tear jerks out of my eyes. And they start pouring. The tall guy cursed at me and hunched over. I froze. I sobbed. I had to get out of here. I moved fast making my way outside to Tiffany. Mascara was pouring down my eyes. People were staring. I ran outside and found Tiffany. "Tiff, can we leave. Please." I beg her. She looks at me. Her gaze changed entirely when she got a good look at my face. Her face flashed with concern. She jumps out of the in ground pool. "Oh my god Brittany, what the hell happened." she's infront of me now. Holding my shoulders. She pulls me into a hug. I hold her tight. "Can we just go home, please." my voice cracks. She wastes no time getting out of the house. She drives me home. The concern on her face never leaving.
When we get to my fathers. I noticed his car out front. Tiffany looks at me. "Are you sure you don't want to stay with me, babes?" she asks softly putting her hand on my shoulder. I stare out the window, to the curtains that glowed. I'll have to deal with my father. What the fuck is happening. Tiff moves her hand and lighty strokes my hair. I look at her. She gives me a sad look. I pull her into a hug. "I'll tell you later, okay?" I say softly. She nods, understanding. "I love you, I'm so sorry." she whispers. I hug her tightly before getting out of the car, waving at she leaves.
I breathe deeply, bracing myself for the lecture I'm about to get. I open the front door. The dining room light on. Lighting up the house. I see my father sitting at the edge of the table. My breathing starting getting shaky again. I could break any moment. I was so tired. The shutting of the front door made my fathers eyes flicker up. "Brittany. Table. Now." he says. His deep stern voice filling the house. His dark eyes stare into my head. I continue to look down. "Yes father." I say softly. I quickly making my way over to the table.
I sit quickly. "Where have you been?" he says raising his voice. God, please don't yell. "I-I was at-" I gulp "Tiffany's." I stare at the table. His gaze never leaving. "Doing what!? You think you can waltz in here looking like that! Like a slut!!" he shouts louder than I expected. I wince. Forcing my eyes closed. Tears slipping. Running down my face. My snout wrinkling. The sound of the chair scratching against the tile. He gets up and stumbes over to where I sat. I held my breath preparing for the hit. He raised his hand and slapped it against my face. I cry out biting my tongue. Letting the sobs fill the room. He was horrifying. I was scared. Can this night get any fucking worse. I sob. Hard. I flinch as he reaches out. Grabbing my ear. The whiskey filled my snout. "Are you a slut, Brittany!" he shouts in my ear. I jump, covering my ears. My head was spinning. Snot getting into my mouth. Drool dripping from my teeth. "No! Please. It hurts!" I beg. I sit slouched over covering my ears tightly. My head buzzed. My sobs filled the room. My breathing stopped I gasped for air. I couldn't breathe. I grabbed onto my fur. Before I knew it, he was stumbling out of the room like nothing happened. I sat alone at the table until I got my breathing under control.
I cried myself to sleep that night.
