Nicole passed by the bush, and didn't see her. She made her way to the garden. She entered and gave a once - over. Everything was in order. She sighed a relief. I thought there was someone hiding . Herma slowly took off her shoes, and walked on her tiptoes to leave-Her breath was thick, and every step she took was an eternity. She cautiously measured her every step by fear of being caught.
She finally made it to her car parked across from Nicole's house, and jumped into it. She hurried to start the engine, her hands trembling , and drove off at full speed.
Nicole heard the sound of her car leaving. she darted across the garden, and walked towards her fence. She came out just in time to see the license plate. Thanks to her good memory, she captured the plate numbers mistakenly. The back of the car really looked like Herma's, she muttered to her self. I'll find out soon !
The neighborhood was quiet and empty. There was not even a human soul in the street in a mile. She felt the cold wind brushed against her face, and her body shivered. She only wore her blue transparent night grown and her fluffy sandals. She crossed her trembling arms across her chest and tightened her hands under her armpit, leaving her thumbs outside. Then, she shrunk her neck, and headed back to her dwelling place.
She made sure she locked both the door of the garden and the back door.
The night was really heated up for Nicole. Her eyes started to get heavy.
As she was going to go upstairs to lie down her exhausted body.
Her phone rang. An unknown number popped up on her screen. She hesitated to answer. The phone kept ringing louder. She slid the green button on the side on her screen and took the call. "You life won't ever be the same without me ! Her voice was scary. It looked like Herma's voice. The voice was evil and filled with so much anger. She shrunk away and almost dropped the phone. She hung up the phone immediately, her hand trembling.
Her mind raced and her heartbeat amplified. She needed to talk to someone. She completely forgot about her special guest for a while. She walked up the stairs and headed to her bedroom. When she stepped in, she saw her snuggle in the bed. She approached her and shook her legs lightly" honey, wake up, wake up," she whispered.
" Mmm, baby. Let me sleep," her tone gentle, she growled at Nicole" No. I need to talk to you," Nicole insisted.
" Ok. What's it all about?"her voice filled with fatigue. " Herma broke into my house, and she even dared to call me on my phone—" a mix of anger and fear laced in her voice
" What was she doing in your house?", her lover asked, her voice looked anxious.
" She wrote over the landscape painting:" I won't ever let you go"
" I think she's really dangerous, honey," her special guest stated.
Beautiful memories came flooding back to Nicole's head. She remembered how she used to be nice to her the first time she met her. She didn't know this dark side of her.
She became a complete stranger.Nicole Couldn't get rid of these memories easily. Every time she saw Herma, they came to haunt her. She felt a fear clutched at her stomach. Her face shifted from sadness to frustration-She thought a new lover would bring her peace of mind- but she was dead wrong.
What did I do wrong to deserve it? Why am I so unlucky ?
the weight of the good memories pressed down on her shoulder. But she still respected her. She refused to degrade her.
When she came to her senses. The girl in her bed fell asleep. She climbed onto the bed and lied on her side, her face close to hers. She cupped her face gently. Her eyes fluttered open," honey, I don't know your name,"she cooed.
