I was still shaken up by the shooting on Friday, and my parents didn't allow me to go to school today, in case something else happened.
Esther called me this morning and told me she wasn't going to school either.
The shooter was arrested and identified as Arthur Fitzgerald, who is Josephine's uncle. He and Josephine were very close, and after her murder he lost his mind. He apparently "wanted revenge," which led him to shoot up our school, when none of the students had anything to do with her murder.
The police were suspicious that he was responsible for the murders earlier this month, so he was put through a lie detector test and was found not guilty.
