Gulf knew something had gone wrong. Travis was agitated like something went out of his control. Maybe police had pinpointed their location or he had made some mistake, whatever the case was it was obvious he was going to get rid of Gulf. They didn't have time. They couldn't sit here and wait for police or their boyfriends to find them. They'll have to save themselves until help arrived. On the insistence of Tine, Travis had left Gulf's arms and legs unshackled, pretty sure in himself that Gulf wouldn't dare to run away or couldn't even attempt to since he was in the cage.

What an idiot!

Gulf was pretty good at picking locks, he had taught himself when he lived with Paul. A skill like that definitely came handy. He had been working on the lock for over an hour and could feel hope diminishing as every second passed. He was losing time when he couldn't afford to. Even after getting out of the cage, the freaking door remained. He'll have to get past that and then somehow find Tine and make his way out of this labyrinth. It was nearly two hours when the old rusty lock budged. Gulf quickly got started on the door hoping this wouldn't take as much time. The house was perfectly still. Looked like Travis was out. This was perfect opportunity to make a run for it. As soon as the door's lock clicked, Gulf heard the front door opening. Cursing his fate, he quickly rushed out of the room trying to pinpoint Tine's location. Where the hell was he?

The place looked so big, the hallway went for a mile with numerous rooms lined on both sides of the corridor. How was he going to find Tine before Travis got to him? He couldn't very well shout Tine's name out loud. Neither could he knock on every door. Who knows what was behind them. Were they all occupied? He thought Travis lived alone. That's the only way anyone would get away with keeping two people hostage. Why the hell did he need so many rooms if he was living alone? Gulf had reached the first door when Travis unlocked the big metal door separating the hallway from the front of house. Gulf quickly hid himself hoping Travis wouldn't find him before he got Tine's location.
Gulf rejoiced in silence when Travis directly went to the far end door where Tine was kept. He just needed to come up with the plan to subdue Travis and then they could escape.

Tine was groggy from sleeping pills Travis had slipped in his breakfast. He could hardly sit on his own and had hard time focussing on anything. What was the guy planning now? There was no reason to drug Tine now, was there? Unless.... Tine was yanked off the bed straining his bound arms making him cry in pain. Travis looked pretty pissed off and he was hell bent on taking it out on Tine.

"They will figure it out. How the hell had police got my licence plate? That bloody boyfriend of yours." Each word was punctuated by a slap to Tine's face.

"They'll be here soon enough. I'm not going to jail because of someone like you. You're pretty but not worth a fucking jail time. There're countless whore like you out there. I'm going to have my fun with you and then slash your throat making a nice parting gift for your boyfriend."

Travis had completely lost his mind. He pinned Tine to the floor, banging his head on the hard floor.

"Should I cut off all your fingers? That would be a nice touch, don't you think?"

Tine was getting desperate by seconds. This man was going to hurt him in horrific ways. He was beyond reasoning.

"W-Why don't you just r-run away? Get o-out of here b-before police a-arrives?" Tine tried to offer an alternative.

Travis stared at him for full minute and for a second there Tine actually thought Travis would listen to him but that made him angrier.

"Look at this. The hoe is telling me what to do. I should shut you up soon enough."

Travis unraveled at the prospect of getting arrested. In his mind, he was supposed to get away with it. He would have killed and dumped the body of Gulf while Tine realized how he was the only one meant for him and reciprocated his love. They would leave the country and settle somewhere no one could find them and live happily ever after. That's how it supposed to happen but it was all going to fall apart. It was Tine's fault. Why hadn't he realized Travis's love? They could have been out of country by now if Tine hadn't delayed them. That freaking brat had ruined his life. This is what he gets after dedicating all these years to Tine? He'll have to punish Tine. That good for nothing whore seduced him and now that Travis loved him so much, he didn't care for him anymore. If love doesn't work, he'll make Tine submit to cruelty.
