#07 Daily Life : 5-Star Retreat here I Come!

It's been weeks since he join the cult, along with his daily working schedule, even with every hecticness, surprisingly it's not a burden. The cult is like a fun activities after work, and it's not a pressure at all, kinda fun. 

"It's here at last!" Cassiel says.

These weeks have been a very hectic weeks for Cassiel and at last the project is done and he can apply for a 3 days leave, more over including weekend it means a 5 days off. He have been searching all around for a cheap retreat and he found one, coincidentally there's a discount for the retreat right around his leave time, a blessing I guess.

"I managed to save 40% because of the discount, I can't wait, the car is taking quite a while." Cassiel murmured.

It's a solo retreat that would pick you up and drive you to the place. By the travel bus, it should be about a 4 hour travel. Right just when he is waiting impatiently while playing phone, suddenly a bus honked and stop right infront of him. At a glance, it's kind of a high class travel bus, which raise his expectation of the retreat.

"Show me the ticket" , the officer asked him immediately as the door opens.

Cassiel shows the ticket and get on board. After 5 hours of travel, they reach the retreat place at around 11 AM. It was as beautiful as the poster on the internet, it's a japanese style retreat with a lot of facilities and activities inside, It has a lot of pagoda like tall buildings, a lot of beautiful trees and plants all around, you can feel the relax and brimming happiness here, and the best part is that every facilities here is free to use once you purchase the ticket.

"woaa, that's a nice refreshing smell" ,Cassiel murmured.

"yess, you are right, this is a nice refreshing smell." A man suddenly interjected.

"Hahaha, feels like my soul is refreshed just by coming here" ,Cassiel replied while turning his head looking at the man. At a glance he is a clean tall looking man, seemingly like an executive on a retreat.

"My bad, I should have introduced myself, I'm John, John Dawyer from the Rising Carp Company, nice to know you" , The man says while offering his hands.

Cassiel shake his hand back and replied, "Hello mister, nice to meet you, I'm Cassiel from the Digital Multimedia Company Group, hope we have a happy retreat". Both of them keep talking while following the guide. The guide take them to their lodging, The lodging is inside on of the biggest pagoda, the room is big with modern and Japandi style design with a touch of wood carving. Each and every room has a big window that showcasing the beauty of the scenery around, you are even provided with projector screen and a lot of movies to watch and enjoy. Moreover, you can request any additional food and snacks 2 times a day for free, besides the allocated ones.

"They are very thoughtful on the services and design, no wonder it's quite pricey even after a discount, this is at some part more than a 5 star hotel I guess." cassiel says.

"I wish this room is my room at home..." he murmured.

'yes, I will work hard, climb the ladder of society and build this kind of beautiful room for myself and my future wife!' , Cassiel suddenly inspired.

The first day, cassiel toured the place and started to talk with the others, getting know about each other, right after touring around, everyone got a simple brief of the upcoming activities, and most of the activities lasted from around 9AM in the morning until 2PM at the afternoon, and the rest of the time everyone is free to do whatever they want.

"This is nice..." , Cassiel says.

"yea, truly nice, worth more than a 5 star rating, just like what the review says" John interjected.

"Yea, you are right, where are you going after this?" Cassiel replied and asked, by now he is accustomed to John suddenly talking to him. 

"I'm thinking of hitting the gym, how about you?" John asked.

"Let's see, I think I'm gonna hit the arboretum and tea shop at the furthest back of the place." Cassiel replied thoughtfully. 

"Alright, let's chit chat later, let me get your contact number, I'll join later after I finish my workout" , John says.

"okay, here's my number, xxxxxxxxxxxxx" ,Cassiel replied and give him his phone number.

"Alright, see ya" John says while walking away.

"Bye" , Cassiel casually replied.

After separating with John, Cassiel goes to the furthest back of the retreat place, It's a huge arboretum with a lot of plants and flowers, just like gardenia which he visited a while back, maybe even better. It's full of decorative arc and statues, water fountains, you can even hear birds chirping, and the craziest part is that at the center you can see a waterfall. Yes, a waterfall, and right at the middle of it there's a bridge towards the center  and inside is the tea cafe. 

"This is almost otherworldly..." Cassiel says in awe.

Cassiel quickly make his way towards the cafe, ordered a cup of tea and some snacks before finding a nice spot for himself to sit and he take out his book to read and relax. He purposely doesn't look a lot at his phone so that he doesn't have to worry about being chat by his manager,  and don't have to think about work too, and it works.
