"Hi!" Exclaimed an excited Ai.
"What do you want?" Y/n asked.
"I just wanted to meet you in person." Said Ai.
"You need help with a bully?" Asked a concerned Y/n.
"No. I'm not bothered by anyone, thankfully." Answered Ai making Y/n feel better.
"Then do you need help with one of your classes?" Y/n asked if she needed help in any of her classes.
"I want to hang out and get to know you better?" Answered Ai.
"I'm no one special." Said Y/n.
"Then you won't hang out with me." Said a sad and dejected Ai. Ai pouted, and Y/n sighed as he agreed to hang out with her after classes.
"I'll see you after class." Said Y/n.
"See you then!" Shouted an excited and happy Ai. Ai was happy to hang out with the only boy to intrigue her.
Time Skip After Classes Y/n's Pov
After classes ended, I waited for Hoshino-san at the school gates. She showed up, excited, and happy to see me again.
"I'm glad you actually came, L/n-san!" Exclaimed an excited Hoshino-san.
"I didn't want to make you feel sad again. So what do you want to do?" I asked and said to Hoshino-san.
"Let's go to my place where we can talk freely." Said Hoshino-san.
"Sure." I answered. Hoshino-san took me to her home, and it was pretty nice.
"Nice place, Hoshino-san." I compliment Hoshino-san's home.
"Thanks. I tried to make it comfortable since I live alone." Said Hoshino-san. We sat down on her sofa.
"So what do you want to know about me?" I asked Hoshino.
"Why do you always get into fights when you don't have to?" Asked Hoshino-san.
"I do it because I don't like seeing innocent people getting hurt for being smart or weird. If I can help someone without fighting, then I'll do it. But it usually ends with me fighting someone." I answered Hoshino-san's question.
"You're a good person, L/n-san. But you don't have to lie to me." Said Hoshino-san, leaving me in a weird spot.
"What do you mean by that?" I lied to Hoshino-san. She smiled at me as her eyes turned dark.
"It's fine because I lie too. But you don't need to hide anything from me." Said Hoshino-san with an understanding smile.
"Well... When I was 12, I came home from school only to find the place trashed and my mother screwed. I ran into the bedroom and found my mother being raped by one of her customers. I knew him since I helped cut his grass while mom cleaned his house. It was at that moment that something in me snapped. That was the first time I beat someone an inch from their life and the last time I saw my mother." I confessed to Hoshino-san.
"My mother wasn't nice to me like yours was. She envied my looks and abandoned me at foster care. She never even went back for me." Hoshino-san said as tears streamed down her face. I hugged her as I tried to comfort her.
"Thank you, L/n-san. You're a good friend." Hoshino-san said to me.
"I promise not to make you cry again." I said, determined to keep Hoshino-san happy.
"Well, do you mind helping with something?" Hoshino-san asked me.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked Hoshino-san.
"I want you to help me dance better." Hoshino-san said to me.
"Sure. I'm not that good at it. But I'll try." I said to Hoshino-san.
"You're too kind, L/n-san." Hoshino-san said to me.
"You can call me Y/n now." I said to Hoshino-san.
"Then you can call me Ai." Ai-san said to me.
Ai-san showed me videos of her past practices. I watched them all with aw.
"I'll do my best to help you become the best Idol ever!" I promised to Ai-san.
"I appreciate that, Y/n-san." Ai-san said as she hugged me. I hugged her back, enjoying the feeling of each other's company.
"Is this what love is like Y/n-san?" Ai-san asked me.
"It's a type of love, yes. This is platonic love between friends." I answered Ai-san. This was the start of our friendship that eventually blossomed into love.
