-Han Pov-

I slammed the front door behind me, the sound echoing through the house.

My older sister, Siying, came walking by, a puzzled expression on her face.

S-Hey, what's wrong with you?

She asked, but I brushed past her, heading straight for my room.

Once inside, I unleashed my frustration, pacing back and forth.

Han-Damn it, Yn! Why do you have to be so stubborn?

I growled, running my fingers through my hair.

Siying appeared in the doorway, arms crossed over her chest.

S-Alright, spill it. What happened? Tell me, or I'm telling Ruru.

She demanded.

I whirled around to face her, tears of anger and hurt brimming in my eyes.

Han-It's Yn, okay?

I snapped.

S-Her again? You talk so much about this girl, I'm starting to think you're straight-

Han-SIYING!

I yelled cutting her off. I wasn't in the mood.

S-I'm sorry, continue.

I groaned thinking about it.

Han-She just... she blew up at me at the store. In front of Mom and Dad!

Siying's brow furrowed, and she took a step closer.

S-What do you mean?

I sank down onto the edge of my bed, burying my face in my hands.

Han-I don't know, Siying

I admitted, my voice thick with emotion.

Han-One minute we were talking, and the next, she was yelling at me to leave her alone.

I looked up, anguish etched across my features.

Han-I was just trying to help, but she wouldn't let me in.

Siying moved to sit beside me, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder.

S-Hey, it's going to be okay

She soothed.

S-Maybe she's just going through something, and she's pushing you away because she's scared or embarrassed or...

I shook my head, frustration bubbling to the surface once more.

Han-I don't care, Siying. I'm done trying to help her if she's just going to throw it back in my face.

I clenched my fists, my knuckles turning white.

Han-From now on, she's on her own. I'm not going to waste my time on someone who doesn't want me around.

My sister eyes widened, and she squeezed my shoulder.

S-Han, you don't mean that. Yn's your best friend. You can't just give up on her.

I let out a bitter laugh.

Han-Watch me

I spat, the words tasting like poison on my tongue.

Han-If she wants to be left alone, then that's exactly what she's going to get.

Without another word, I rose to my feet and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind me.
