It's been about a week and a half since the hang out with Mimi and Brandon. Zemy is still nervous about meeting up with Brandon alone. Even though Brandon seems to be trustworthy, he hopes he doesn't have to see him again.
That was until he bumped into him after his afternoon class with Mimi. He wasn't expecting to see him there, but Brandon had apparently moved collages to be closer to Mimi. At least, that's what he assumed the reason for this was. From then on, Brandon would be attending the same classes as them, and instead of hanging out with Mimi, his attention focused to Zemy. Mimi would notice this and began to grow jealous of Zemy and assumed Zemy was intentionally attracting Brandon's attention. This wasn't the case at all, but Zemy did like the attention to a certain degree. Usually he would be ignored the whole class time so it wasn't very enjoyable until now.
Over time, tension began to grow with Mimi and Zemy until she finally confronted him. She invited him to hang out, just the two of them at a cafe to catch up. Zemy was so excited! That was until he got there he could tell just by the energy in the room that it wasn't really a 'hangout'.

"What did I ever do to you?" Mimi starts off the conversation. Zemy was scared and confused. He wasn't exactly sure what she was talking about, he just stayed awkwardly silent. "I literally trusted you, I believed you were actually happy for me, you really think everything's about you, huh?" Mimi continues on. By now, people around the Cafe start giving them stares. Zemy was too embarrassed to say anything, he just wanted to go away and cry but he just froze there. " But Mimi.. I don't know what I did?" Zemy worked up the courage to say without managing to cry in front of her. Mimi could tell he was on the verge of tears, but it just annoyed her. "Are you seriously going to make me look bad by crying in front of everyone?" She says in an exhaustive tone. Zemy looks away, hiding his face he really wants to leave, but he can't.

He can hear people talking about him, which makes him even more scared to respond. Until he hears someone in the faint background, "Babe..??" A concerned, yet familiar voice breaks the chatter. It was Brandon! Apparently, he worked at the Cafe they were at. Mimi completely switched her personality. Flustered, she was hoping he hadn't witnessed what she was saying to Zemy. "OMG Hi baby! I had no idea you worked here?!" She laughs nervously. "Yea I thought I told you? But what's going on here? Is everything alright?" He looks to Zemy, who's hiding himself from embarrassment. "Oh no! Everything's fine! Me and Zemy were just catching up!" She reassured him. By then, Zemy was noticeably crying, and Brandon could tell what was going on. "Mimi, I heard what you said.. What's the deal?" He asks her slightly fed up. She then gets annoyed. "Ugh then why ask? You obviously know what's going on, and honestly, this is your fault too!" She then storms off, leaving Zemy there along with Brandon.
