*Scene opens with a man watching a dojo on fire.*

A raging fire engulfed the entire dojo, consuming everything in its path. The flames licked the sky, casting an eerie glow over the surrounding area. Amidst the devastation, a lone figure stood, watching silently as the building was reduced to ashes. Bodies lay scattered around him, motionless and lifeless.

*The scene focuses on the man's eyes, reflecting the burning building, then transitions to Daisuke's eye.*

---

Daisuke stood in the center of the fighting stage where the fated chronicle clash had taken place just days earlier. His surroundings were dimly lit, the only source of illumination coming from the six pillars encircling him. Each pillar emitted a radiant light, representing the fates of those who had participated in the clash.

"Resilience...Valor...Adaptability...Ingenuity...Justice...Rebellion..." Daisuke intoned, his voice resonating with a solemn intensity. "Six fates have intertwined to face the forces of destiny. My gratitude to you all, participants of the fated chronicle clash. Thanks to y'all, I can finally regain my lost powers."

The light from the pillars converged on Daisuke, forming a beam that shot into the night sky. His ritual, the Chronicle Gate, was reaching its climax.

"Come to me...lost powers across time and space...Chronicles Ritual Gate...open!" Daisuke called out, his voice echoing across the dojo.

The beam of light began to shift from its original golden hue to a dark, ominous green. Daisuke's eyes widened in shock.

"What...What's happening? The ritual...it's failing... What is this dark energy?" Daisuke muttered, his confusion turning to fear as the dark light shot into the sky before disappearing into nothingness.

"No... It can't be... Is it really you... Luna?" Daisuke whispered, recognizing the dark energy. His heart sank as he realized the implications of what had just occurred.

*Scene cuts to the Tey condominium.*

My sister and I were finishing a delicious crepe breakfast made by our mum, the smell of warm syrup lingering in the air. The TV news played in the background, announcing the latest achievements.

"Singapore Polytechnic's DJ team has won an all-time gold music award at the Singapore Youth Festival. A remarkable achievement, especially with the contributions of their star DJ, Jake Lim," the reporter said as a boy, my age, received the award on-screen.

"Wow... another amazingly talented person out there," I remarked, finishing the last bite of my breakfast. Amy suddenly noticed the clock and panicked. We were running late for school.

We hurriedly put on our shoes, waved goodbye to Mum, and rushed to the train station. There, Charlie was waiting for us, looking displeased.

"Sorry we're late," I apologized, feeling guilty for keeping him waiting. Charlie, ever patient, brushed it off, and we boarded the train, ready to start our third year in polytechnic.

After saying goodbye at the school gate, we each headed to our respective classes. As soon as my first lecture ended, Spike caught up with me on the way to lunch.

"Hey, Sean, let's battle!" Spike said eagerly, raising his phone with the app Daisuke had given us to train.

"Good afternoon, Spike," I greeted him, amused by his enthusiasm. "How about after school? We can meet at the basketball court. What do you say?"

Spike reluctantly agreed, his impatience evident. He was always itching for a fight.

*Scene cuts to a brief recap of the group's lives since the Fated Chronicle Clash tournament.*

Everyone had been doing great since the tournament ended. Queenie was balancing her acting and studies with ease, thanks to her power-up, which allowed her to multitask like never before. Simon was impressing his superiors with his innovative prototypes, earning high praise during his internship. Stephanie had recently been promoted to squad captain in her elite platoon—a position incredibly difficult to attain. Jessica continued to hold onto her title as the best batch flier from the competition in Bugis mall and excellent skate trainer, mentoring new trainees in the skate club. Spike had grown closer to his family, his rebellious nature tempered by the bond they had formed.

As for me, not much had changed, but my powers had become more useful in my daily life. I never had to worry about charging my devices, thanks to my energy conversion abilities. Life was good for all of us.

*Scene transitions to Sean's classroom.*

As I settled in for my next class, the lecturer made an announcement. We were getting a new transfer student who had previously been in the common engineering program but was now joining us in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, and Robotics.

When the new student walked in, I was surprised to see that it was none other than Jake Lim, the DJ prodigy from the news earlier.

"Hello, everyone," Jake introduced himself with a confident smile. "I'm Jake Lim, and from today onwards, I'll be your ever-reliable classmate. I look forward to achieving the best with you."

The girls in the class were instantly smitten, whispering excitedly to one another. Some of the guys, on the other hand, looked less than thrilled.

"Instead of some cute girl, we get this genius prodigy," one of my classmates grumbled to me. "Guys like us are in trouble with him around."

I tried to laugh it off, but Jake had overheard the comment. He walked over to us, his demeanor calm and friendly, while I apologized for the comment my classmate made.

"Now, now, let's not say things like that," Jake said, addressing my classmate with a gentle smile. "I'm sure we'll all get along just fine, right Sean?"

My classmate and I were both taken aback by Jake's kindness. He even knew my name, which surprised me, but he explained that he had memorized the class list before joining us. His ability to remember everyone's name immediately impressed the class, and he handled the attention with ease.

Before leaving the classroom, Jake asked if we could exchange contacts, and I agreed. As I saved his number in my phone, I couldn't help but think, *Jake Lim... he's really something.*

*Scene transitions to the basketball court as the sun sets.*

Spike and I faced off at the basketball court, ready for our battle.

"Respond to my resilience!" I cried, preparing to unleash my ultimate move.

"Ultimate Chronicle Technique: Lightning Energy Dragon!" I charged toward Spike, ready to land the final blow.

"Not so fast," Spike countered, narrowly dodging my attack. I was visibly frustrated as my ultimate move failed to end the match.

"Oh man..." I muttered, as Spike grinned, pleased with his evasion.

"Couldn't clinch it this time, huh? Now it's my turn," Spike said, full of confidence.

"I still have plenty of stamina left, so if you pull off any half-baked attacks, I'll counter them," I responded, determined to hold my ground.

Spike smirked. "How about this then? I've been saving the best for last. End it all with the Final Rebellion, Ultimate Chronicle Technique manifest!"

I knew I couldn't replicate the miracle that saved me last time. Amy's light illusion energy was a one-time use. But I stood firm, ready to face Spike's ultimate move.

"I invoke my electric terrain," I said, creating a shield of electricity around the virtual fighting space.

"It's no use!" Spike shouted. "Chain Lock Repulsion!" His chains wrapped around me, neutralizing my powers and ending the match. Spike celebrated his victory, and we shook hands, acknowledging a great battle.

Unbeknownst to us, Jake had been nearby, listening to our fight. "I look forward to facing you two when the time comes," he said quietly, holding a card similar to a Fated Chronicle card in his hand.

*Scene transitions to Tey's condominium.*

Back at home, I was munching on a banana, still frustrated by my loss to Spike. Suddenly, a blinding light appeared in my living room. As it faded, Daisuke stood before me, looking alarmed.

"Dai? What's going on?" I asked, surprised by his sudden appearance.

"There's no time to explain. Come with me, Sean. It's urgent and concerns you and the other participants of the Fated Chronicle Clash," Daisuke said urgently.

I followed him to the Starbucks café at the park near my house, where my friends were already waiting—Jessica, Queenie, Simon, Stephanie, and Spike.

"Guys? What are you all doing here? What's this about?" I asked, anxiety creeping into my voice.

"Dai called us here," Jessica replied, her voice tinged with fear. "He said there's something important we need to know."

"Indeed," Daisuke said, his expression serious. "The time has come for you all to learn the truth about the Fated Chronicle Clash, about me, Daisuke Trion, and about the imminent danger that is now upon us."

"You mean the crisis you mentioned before?" Simon asked.

"No, something worse is happening right now," Daisuke replied, and a heavy silence fell over the group as we waited for his next words.
