Kobi Brewster

Dave's POV

I hold our daughter in my arms watching her as she sleeps. She's been sleeping for a few minutes now, her mom doing the same. I look over at Misha as she sleeps peacefully in the hospital bed. She was in labor for almost 8 hours so I know she's drained. I sit down next to Kai and look at her as she plays with her sensory book. I look up at the door once it opens then Brayden pops her head in smiling. "Are they still sleeping?" She asks so I nod. They come in quietly closing the door behind them.

They wash their hands then they come over to me so I hand them Kobi. "She's so beautiful.." Brayden says as she watches Kobi scrunch her face a bit. I hear Mimi yawn so I look back at her then smile when she's watching her parent. "How you feeling baby?" She looks at me and smiles as she motions me over. She pulls me into a kiss then rubs my cheek. "I feel much better now that I slept, she definitely made a dramatic entrance." I laugh a bit then play with her braids a bit. I help her out of bed and into the bathroom. Once she's down I take her back then her parents stand around the bed.

They had Kobi back to her and she starts to breastfeed her. "She's such a peaceful baby, barely even cried." Mimi says as she rubs Kobi's hair. I sit next to Kai and she climbs into my lap laying against me. After a few minutes of them talking Kai tells me she's hungry so Misha's parents take her to go out to eat. "We'll be back in a few hours so she can have some time outside the hospital." We nod and say goodbye to them as they walk out the door. I go over to my wife and kiss her. "I love you." She looks up at me and smiles. "I love you too." Kobi looks up at us then pulls away smiling.

I clean up Kobi then I hand her back to Misha and rub her leg as I watch them. By the time her parents and Kai come back Misha is back asleep. I hold Kobi as Kai sits next to me playing with her sister's hand. Kai is doing great around Kobi and it makes me happy. They aren't too far apart so I feel like they'll be really close when they grow up. Her parents decided to go home after a while since my parents were on the way. They get here about 20 minutes after Brayden and Derek left. When they come in my mom immediately goes over to Misha and hugs her. "How are you feeling love?" Mimi smiles and waves at my pops as he answers my mom.

"I'm doin good, ready to be back home in my own bed." They laugh together then my mom puts her hand on her shoulder. "Just another day or two and you'll be back in your bed." Mimi nods then looks over at me and Kai. My pop hugs Mimi then my parents greet me and the girls. They clean their hands before I hand Kobi to them and they stand together as they looks at her in my mothers arms. "She looks just like Misha, I love it!" My mom says making my dad nod in agreement. Mimi tells me to bring Kai over so I set her next to her in the bed. Kai lays against her shoulder so Mimi rubs her arm.

Misha's POV

I get out of bed and stretch, feeling good after the nap I took. I've been back home for a few weeks now and I'm finally feeling like I'm getting back to myself. Dave has been a tremendous help and I couldn't be more happy he is the man I married. I check the time and see it's 6:32pm so I walk out the room and look for my family. I see Dave holding Kobi as they watch Kai play with her blocks. I go around the couch and sit next to them making everyone look at me. "What I do?" Dave chuckles and shakes his head. "I just thought you'd be sleep a lil longer."

I nod and take Kobi from his hands. "I miss you while I was sleeping." I look over at Kai and blows her a kiss. "I missed you too my baby." Kai smiles and comes over to me hugging my side. "What about me?" I look at Dave then lean over and kiss him. "I missed you the most." I whisper making him chuckle. We talk for a while about what he did while I slept then I ask him about dinner. "I can make us something." I shake my head and say. "You've been cooking everyday for the past few weeks I can make something. That was the point of me asking what you wanted." He shakes his head then stands up.

"I got it baby." He goes into the kitchen to start dinner so I play with the girls until he's done cooking. He comes in the living room with my plate and takes Kobi from me as he hands me my plate. Kai sits at her little table and he brings her plate in. He goes back to the kitchen then comes back with a bottle and his plate. I take a bite of my broccoli and beef as I watch him feed Kobi as he eat. "Words really can't express how grateful I am to have you Dave." I say making him turn to me. "You know I gotchu baby, we made for each other.. Literally." I laugh a bit as he smiles at me. "Thank you baby, I really do love you." I say as I lean over and kiss him. We watch tv and talk a bit until we finish our food.

When we're done I take our plate to the kitchen and wash the dishes. I get Kai's plate then clean up the rest of the kitchen. I go back into the living room and sit next to Dave as he hold both our babies. "I love seeing the three of y'all." "And we love seein your gorgeous self." I put my hand on his leg as I kiss all three of them. I take Kai into my lap then play with her hair. "I was thinking tomorrow we can dress them up and take sum pictures. I know they got a matching outfit in there somewhere." "I like that, it'll be cute." He nods then plays with Kobi when she starts reaching for his shirt. I put on a movie for us to watch as a family as we enjoy our time together.

When the movie is over I take Kai to her bathroom to give her a bath. I put her in her yellow pajamas then brush her little teeth. "Ready for bed?" She nods and laugh. "Yes!" I take her to her bed and tuck her in before turning on her night light. "I love you Kai." "Love you toooo!" I laugh and kiss her head before sitting for a few minutes I told he falls asleep. When I get to the bedroom Kobi is in her crib fast asleep. I turn on the monitor for Kai then set it on the side table. When I turn around Dave is standing behind me looking at my ass. "When you 6 weeks up I'm really gone tear yo ass up."

I roll my eyes as I walk past him. "Now it's 8 weeks." I hop in the shower and get out once I'm done then Dave gets in the shower as I brush my teeth. I put on my pajamas then check on the babies before I get into bed. When Dave comes out the bathroom he's only in his boxers. He turns off the light then climbs into bed behind me. "Goodnight baby." He says as he kisses my ear. "Goodnight babe." We fall asleep after a few minutes, only waking up a handful of times throughout the night for Kobi.

I wake up before Dave so I check on Kobi and she's still sleeping. I quietly go out the room and check on Kai and she is also still sleeping. I go to the kitchen and make some breakfast for us. I take out everything I need then start cooking as quietly as possible. I made French toast, eggs, turkey bacon, with turkey sausage. I take out some breast milk I have then heat it up for Kobi. As her milk is warming up Dave comes in holding the girls. "Goodmorning ma." He says as he walks over to me, kissing me. I kiss the girls then I quickly make our plates. I set our plates at the table then take Kai and sit her on my lap as we eat.

Dave tells me about the pictures he wanted to take of the girls and I nod in agreement. "They're gonna be so cute." I say as I wipe Kai's mouth. Dave gets up and takes his plate to the sink before coming back to get mine and Kai's plate. "I'll be right back." I say as I take Kai into her room then go into her bathroom to brush her teeth. When I'm down I clean her up I put her hair into a bun then get her dressed into the matching pink outfit she's wearing today. I kiss her cheek then take her into the living room. Dave and Kobi come in and sit next to us. "They look so pretty." I say holding them next to each other. "Just like you." Dave says then he pecks my lips.

I look down at my girl and admire them, I couldn't be any luckier. Dave gets up then sets up the living room so we can take their pictures. I set Kobi down on the white fur pillow then Kai sits next to her. Dave takes their picture then he takes some individual pictures of them. He takes some of me and the girls then I do the same for him. We take a look through the pictures then he sets the camera up and we talked a couple pictures of us all together.
