Sicheng: He's crazy.

Xiaojun: I really didn't want to be back here.

Unlike the other two, Mei sat against the ground, staring up at the sky through the tiny barred window.

Sicheng: And why are you okay with this?

His tone was harsh but it was understandable. Or at least Mei seemed to. She was mad, but in a way she could empathise with the royal as well.

Mei: He lost his mother and he's clearly scared. He's probably next. Maybe his descisions are rash but we can't do anything to defy that. He is the ruling one now. What he says goes. Complaining within ourselves won't change anything for him or us.

There was a short silence in which she heard Xiaojun cough and Sicheng groan.

Sicheng: I see why those fools are behind you.

He muttered making Mei turn to look at him.

Mei: Sorry? What did you say?

Sicheng: Nothing. You just have to be right everytime.

With a grumble he slid down to sit as well, face contorting to disgust as he finally decided to look around the small cell they were put in.

Sicheng: So what now? We're just stuck here for the rest of our lives? What did we even do wrong?

Xiaojun: He'll probably realise we aren't at fault and just let us go soon.

Mei: We can hope.

Ten pulled on the harnesses and the horse came to a standstill. He dismounted and a reluctant Kun followed.

Kun: We're barely at the border of South.

Ten: I know that Kun.

Kun: She's here?

Ten: Mhm. There was this one address that always stuck out. So... its this place as far as I remember.

Kun: But I see no... hut or cottage to house someone.

Ten: Trust me a little, will you?

Kun just sighed and followed Ten through a trail after tying their horses by a tree.

They barely walked for five minutes before Ten stopped and looked around. He looked at Kun before pointing at the trees. As Kun followed his finger he saw a patten, specifically of a star and they were at the heart of it.

Kun: This could be a mere coincidence.

Ten: Except it's not.

He motioned Kun to move back and he didn't hesitate. The next second Ten drew his sword pointing the tip to the ground.
