Things couldn't be going better right now. The Tech Priest offered a generous deal. As long as we hunt down local pirates that are causing trouble in the supply lines, we get funding. It's also giving us opportunities for combat testingProduction on the X0-1 armor pattern has been going ahead smoothly. We have expanded the production line and have workers from the Adeptus Mechanicum helping. Overall, things couldn't be going better
Entercom: Commissar Y/n, please report to the bridge. Commissar Y/n, please report to the bridge
Standing from my desk, I make my way to the bridge where a holo pad shows General Tullius standing there
Y/n: General Tullius (kneels) What is the occasion?
General Tullius: I know of what you have been doing on your ship. Though I don't like having things happen without my approval, we have more concerning issues
Y/n: (standing up) What would that be
General Tullius: There is a planet in the Altair system that has been revolting against the Imperium. Your fleet is to go and eradicate this threat. Do that, and I'll consider turning a blind eye to your work
Y/n: It shall be done
The holo pad turns off
Y/n: Asshole
On Terra
In the golden palace, there was a room. One lined in gold with arts of many worlds and ages adorning its walls. Inside that room was a table. One with 9 seats on each side of the table. Each seat sat one of the primarchs in all their glory. At the head of the table their was a 19th seat where the Empress of man sat
Fulgrim: I must say it is wonderful to all together like. It's has what? 30 years since we had such a meeting?
Ferrus: That it has, though I dought, this is a social call
Fulgrim: Pity, what about you, Dorn? Why do you believe we have been summoned?
Dorn: The Empress will explain if only you waited
Fulgrim: You know I was simply trying to make small talk
Dorn: *huff*
Sanguinius: I personally believe that the Empress has an important announcement to make
?: You're not completely wrong
All 18 primarchs turn their heads to face the head of the table where the Empress stood, taking her seat
Empress: Half of this meeting is to simply check in on your progress
Guilliman: Would a simple holo call not have sufficient?
Empress: Am I not allowed to want to see my children?
Room stood silent
Empress: Well, that settles that. Now, how are your conquests going, my daughers? Any difficulties?
Leman: HA, The only difficulties are the lack of good enemies to fight
Most of the primarchs shared a similar sentiment
Empress: Vulkan, you seem uncharacteristically quiet. Have you run into problems?
Angron: Of she would, she is too soft
Vulkan: To answer your question, Empress no. At least I'm not sure if what I'm dealing with is yet a major problem
Empress: Elaborate
Vulkan: Recently, there has been a string of attacks on ship in my sector. Non on Imperium personnel, but the people involved show a high level of skill and technology. They have been killing pirates and taking whatever cargo they have. They seem to target groups in possession of ceramite or other high-quality materials
Perturabo: What type of tech is this group using?
Vulkan: They use heavy laz rifles and use some sort of power armor. It is able to shrug off laz fire like it's nothing and can withstand bolter fire
Empress: Does this group have a name?
Vulkan: They go by The Enclave
