STORY CONTINUES

The next morning, Lucy took John to her house and called a local doctor. The doctor treated him with 31 stitches, all on the left side of his face.

"If he stays still these should hold. He has a serious concussion and should be in the hospital"

"I know..."

"Fine. Because of the concussion, he'll be sensitive to noise and light. Right now, he can't tolerate bright lights or loud noises. He should be better in a couple of days. Lucy, you know I care about you, but this is crazy."

"Don't worry..."

"Ok! I'm leaving"

John is lying unconscious on the couch while the Martinez brothers are getting high on drugs on that building. Ellie is there, naked, unconscious, and drugged, barely able to cover herself. Maria is waiting for John, and the situation is intense. Lucy is washing John's clothes. Meanwhile, the brothers inject Ellie with more drugs. A few days later, John begins to move a little, but Maria continues to wait day and night. They keep Ellie heavily drugged, using her as a sex slave. Up to 23 people rape her in a day. Lucy cleans John, tending to his wounds and dressing his injuries, but he is still in a lot of pain. They imprison Ellie in a dark room with no clothes, allowing anyone who wants to enter and use her as a slave. Victor even gives her away for free to those who can't afford it, just to teach John a lesson.

One day, Lucy went out to buy some groceries. When she came back, John was fully awake, dressed in his own clothes, and waiting for the person who saved him and treated him.

"You're up. Are you alright?"

"Yeah. Who are you?"

"Lucy Delgado. What is your name?"

"John"

"Your truck is in the garage, by the way"

"How did I get here?"

"I brought you here"

"But you don't even know me"

"Why do I have to know you? Um... you were in trouble. I don't know. I would do it for anyone"

"Why were you even there?"

"I'm an independent journalist. I was following El Flaco. A pimp who drugs and sells girls. I saw you in the club, watching him. I saw you what you did to him"

"How long have I been here?"

"Four days..."

"Four days?"

"Mm-hmm"

"Christ... You gotta tell me... Where are the men that took her?"

"Who did they take? Your daughter?"

"Yeah. Where is she?"

"Where they are? Who are they?"

Lucy looked at the wall, where she had pasted photos of Hugo Martinez and Victor Martinez. John saw them there.

"They are Martinez brothers. They took my sister. We found her dead from an overdose three years ago"

She showed him her sister's photo.

"I'm sorry. You just gotta tell me, where you think they are"

"No, it doesn't work this way. There's too many of them. Are you crazy or what?"

"I'm not thinking about that. All I can think about is... How scared she must be, what she's going through, what your sister went through. Just... help me, please. I can't do it without you"
