FINAL VENGEANCE

STORY CONTINUES

After Maria leaves, John is consumed with anger and begins making plans, similar to those he made when Ellie told him about going to Mexico. He pulls out the map of the tunnels he created and starts marking them with a pen. Using a JCB, he digs a small tunnel and fills it with fuel, laying self-made landmines. He collects large amounts of gunpowder and fuel in his farm and garage, setting up all kinds of traps and creating a pathway designed to automatically kill anyone who enters. He installs metal rod spikes used in construction and rigs his shotguns so that if someone crosses a wire in the dark, the guns will automatically fire. He covers the entrance to the dungeon, hides his guns for when he needs them, and tests his crossbow. He plants bombs under the tunnels, sharpens his blades, and practices his shooting. He accomplishes all this in just two days.

At night, he started the engine and drove back to Mexico, to Lucy.

"Knock! Knock!"

"You? what do you want?"

"I need your help"

"Alright. Come in. If someone sees you, we both will die. Coming back here is so dangerous. Did you find her?"

"She's dead"

"Oh, I'm... I'm sorry. I really am. I know how you feel. But coming back here was dangerous. Why are you here?"

"I wanna find the thin one"

"No"

"The one that cut her face"

"No, I..."

"The one that cut me"

"I'll not help you again"

"You have to"

"Why do I have to? What will it change? Nothing. We grieve and move on"

"And you've done that? Did you move on?"

"I mean, I think of her every day, every fucking day. But we have to move on"

"What if you can't move on? What if you can't move on at all?"

"But you have to, we have no choice. What's done is doen"

"Why is it done? How is it ever done? When I look at her so innocent... face, that face never have life in it again. I cry tears of blood. How is it ever done? I want revenge. I want them to know that death is coming... and there's nothing they can do to stop it. I want them to feel our grief and know that's the last thing they will ever feel and I know you want it too"

At night, Lucy agreed to help John and assisted him in reaching the mansion, which was surrounded by armed guards. John stealthily infiltrated the mansion, taking out the guards one by one. When a guard stepped out, John swiftly stabbed his dagger into the guard's neck, tearing his skull from the center to the top, and repeatedly stabbed him in the chest. As he entered the mansion's grounds, he spotted another person and threw small knives from behind, one hitting the neck, another in the back, before stabbing the person's head from the top.

Getting closer, John sneaked into the mansion. When another man came to check the area, John hid against the wall. As the man approached, John covered his mouth, stabbed his dagger into the man's eyes, and then tore open his chest.

John finally located Victor's room; Victor was in the shower. John quietly entered the room, attacking Victor from behind. He first stabbed him in the backbone, ripping his back open. Ensuring Victor stayed alive, John tied him to the bed and began torturing him. He pulled out each of Victor's nails one by one and then pushed two toothpicks through the exposed nail beds, piercing the fingers completely. After all ten nails were pulled and twenty toothpicks inserted, the bed was soaked in blood.
