HTTYD 3 The Hidden World: Eret x Reader

The Dragon Raid

3rd Person POV

Dawn was just breaking as a dark lone ship sails through the sea, a foggy mist shrouding it as the wind whistles softly. Torches light the ship as one man walks across the deck, the wooden floor boards creaking with each step he takes. He has a lantern in one hand to help him see and a spear in his other. Lining side-by-side are cages filled with dragons, glaring at the man through their muzzles. The man inspects the cages as he passes them, one snarling loudly at him. 

"Quiet!" The man growled, slamming his spear on the cage and startling the little dragon.

The man faces ahead but stops as he sees a figure in the fog.  The figure activates their sword, the blade extending and igniting in flames. The light from the flames making it look like its glowing. The figure was dressed in black-scaled armor from head to toe. 

"What are you...?" The man asked, fear rising in him. 

"Shhhhh." The armored figure shushes the man. 

The man hears snarling behind him and looks back to find a dragon. A blue glow trailing down its back, its dark silhouette climbing down the cages.

The man yelps and rushes the figure with his spear. The figure dodge swiftly, the man backs up in shock than tries to hit the figure with the staff but the figure blocked it and knocked it away as they kicked him away. The man tosses the lantern he was holding, it breaking against the figure's flame sword and sparking a fire.

The man lets out a shriek as the figure walked through the fire with the dragon at their side. 

"You're a demon!" The man shrieked. 

"Sh! Sh! I am not a demon! I am not demon!" The figure shushed the man, lifting their helmet and lowering their mask. 

"See? Just a guy. Just a guy, here to rescue these dragons." The figure said as he revealed himself as Hiccup. 

"B-But you walked through fire!" The man whimpered, looking between Toothless and Hiccup frantically. 

"Dragon scales! Dragons shed a lot." Hiccup stated as he wiped the dust off his shoulder. 

"Noooo, I know a demon when I see one! No human leg is that skinny!" The man screamed, frantically.

Hiccup had a look of confusion on his face and then the man screams as he runs away from them, but was stopped by Hookfang as he lands in front of him. 

"Think that's a good entrance?" Snotlout asked, as poses on top of Hookfang, wearing his own armor. 

"Get a load of me!" He boasted, but he starts screaming because his butt was lit on fire again. 

He falls off Hookfang, who looks unimpressed, and runs around.

"Aah! I knew it! More demons!" The man yelped in fear. 

"Nah, it's really just a nitwit who forgot to fireproof his butt." Hiccup stated as he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"Hot, hot, hot, hot!" Snotlout screamed, wincing as he puts out the fire on his butt. 

But then a silhouette of two dragon heads appear on either side of him, one breathing gas and covering the area. 

"Guys! No! Not yet!" Hiccup shouted. 

Snotlout screamed, but the other head lights the gas and causes an explosion.

"Behold, your worst nightmare!" Tuffnut growled from under his mask, posing dramatically.
