HTTYD 3 The Hidden World: Eret x Reader

The Final Battle!

3rd Person POV

Y/n, Hiccup, Eret and Valka then make their way to the others. 

"Suit up, gang! We're gonna get them back. All of them." Hiccup stated to them.

 "What?" Fishlegs asked. 

"He's lost his mind." Ruffnut said. 

"Now that's marriage material! At last, faithful pupil, you are ready." Tuffnut stated, holding Hiccup's shoulders. 

Hiccup playfully shakes his head and pushes Tuffnut off him. 

"Umm. How are we gonna get our dragons back....without dragons?" Fishlegs asked. 

"Trust us. Grimmel thinks we are only formidable with our dragons, but he underestimates us again and again. We're Vikings. When has anyone stopped us?" Y/n said.

The gang look at each other and Astrid steps forward with a determined smile. 

"So, what is the plan?" She asked the siblings. 

Hiccup smiles as he looks at the people he trusts with his life. The game is still on.

On the ships, dragon trappers prepare as the swarm of dragons fly closer to them. Not wanting to disobey their Alphas' command, they board the ships and were locked in cages. Some too scared to fight back while some roar at the trappers. The Stormcutter roars at him in anger, but Toothless roars an order at him to keep him from attacking. Cloudjumper growls lightly but reluctantly obeys. However, purposefully knocks down some trappers with his tail as he enters a cage.

"That's right, Alphas. No surprises." Grimmel said, chuckling.

Shadowstryke glares at the man with pure hatred but then hears a quiet growl and looks to find Rubystryke look at him with worried eyes. His gaze softens as he softly coos at him then looks to his best friend and the Lightfury.

The rest of the Dragon Riders have put on their flight suits and ready themselves for battle while Valka was at the camp. 

"So... jump off the cliff... in these. That's the best you got?" Ruffnut asked, doubtfully. 

"No. You guys are the best I've got." Hiccup replied with confidence and Ruffnut awed.

"I'm-" Tuffnut said, before Ruffnut cut him off.

"I'm with them, who else?!" Ruffnut said.

"Ruffnut, that was my line!" Tuffnut said, glaring at Ruffnut.

"Let's go!" Hiccup and Y/n exclaimed as the put down their masks and took off.

"Try to keep up! Woohoo!" Astrid exclaimed as she jumped. 

The rest of the group follows and jump off the cliff as they glide to the dragon trapper ships. Eret, Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Snotlout enjoyed it, Fishlegs, not so much. 

Grimmel pulls a lever that lowers the Nightfury and Nightstrykes to some dragon trappers as they point weapons at them. The Light Furies could only watch as they try and fail to break free. The dragon friends growl threateningly at the trappers, daring them to try and hurt them. But then Grimmel laughs as he aims a harpoon downwards at the dragon trappers. 

"Aww, you didn't think I'd actually hand over the Nightfury and Nightstrykes, did you? Everything starts and ends with them. They are mine to kill. I intend to finish what I started. Best of luck controlling them without there precious alphas." Grimmel said with a smirk. 

"Hold on, Toothless!" Hiccup exclaimed.

"We're coming, Shadowstryke! Rubystryke!" Y/n exclaimed and Grimmel turned his attention to them.
