"How Did this Happen?" Bonnie asked curiously as she examined your hands, putting the Healing nubs where your Ring finger used to be close to her eye The Princess watched as the flesh and bone excreted a slight magic signal as it Reformed.

With your other hand you rubbed your neck, "An animal snuck up on me when I was asleep, guess it was Hungry!" You tried to joke, after a moment of PB staring at you she sighed.

Walking behind you Bonnie rested her head on yours, "You've got to be More Careful Y/N," Slowly she lowered her lips to your cheek and gave you a kiss, "Who knows what kind of power that Animal has now, we still don't know if your synthetic body carries your magic from Creature to Creature." With a breath of relief that she bought your embarrassing coverup you allowed her to cup both sides of your face. Slowly PB's breath slowed and with a glance upwards you could easily see that she'd fallen asleep, shaking your head you got up and carried her to bed.

Outside PB's room you called over Peppermint Butler, "Anyone tries to Wake her up, Kill them." You said with finality, taking only one step the Butler spoke up.

"Shall I be Killing Myself then Sir?" With a furrowed brow you turned. "In half an Hour I will be waking up Her Majesty for the Intellectuals Ball."

Groaning you squatted down to the Butler's level, "My bad Pep But, scratch that Order. If anyone tries to Wake her Before the Ball, then Kill them." The Candy-Person smiled evilly.

"Very Well Sir."

"The Ball Completely slipped my Mind," You rationalized, but with more thought you came to a different conclusion. "Did PB Not tell Me?" Tapping your chin as you floated high above the Clouds you sighed, "Maybe I've been looking kinda Stupid recently.... I sure feel that way." Thinking of how fresh the Pain of Marciline's disappearance felt when you came face to face with her, losing a finger to an 'Animal' couldn't look to smart to the Princess, and worst of all. Here you were, the Strongest Being in Ooo freaking out over whether his partner thinks he's smart or not.

Running a hand through your hair and floating upright you laughed, "Man I'm losing it." Staring out into the infinite blue you felt a twinge like you weren't good enough for The Princess, you were confident that she Loved you and that You loved her. But you couldn't shake the Sense that even with all your achievements, no matter how hard you worked, how hard you tried, She would always be out of your league.

It had been years since you'd thought anything like this, so you couldn't stand that after dozens of years only now you were becoming self conscious. A certain anxiety creeped up on you as your breath got cold, exhaling you watched as light precipitation in the air froze solid.

"I've gotta calm down, who cares that I Didn't get an invite." You grinned, "When's that Stopped me before?" With a shrug you continued, "Besides, probably better to keep an eye on her. In case anyone feels like kidnapping the Princess." Closing your eyes you laid back into the air, "Hate to say it But she Really is the only Person I've got left."

You pretended to read a book as you leaned backward in a chair glancing to a window you carefully examining your disguise. A Black suit with White underlines adorned your Body, your Snow White hair was Now a Jett Black, Glasses sat atop the bridge of your nose.

Practically a perfect disguise as long as you stayed out of The Main sight lines, after all you still looked human.

When Bonnie arrived you made sure to Watch everyone around her, most went up to Say hello or Deliver a present, only a Few other royals stayed and had short conversations.
