The first light of a winter Monday crept through the city, illuminating the frost-kissed streets with a soft, pale glow. The melodious chirping of birds began to fill the air, harmonizing with the serene quiet of the early morning. Noor lay in bed, half-awake, listening to the natural symphony. It was time for Fajr Namaz, the first prayer of the day, and though she often found herself overwhelmed by her demanding schedule, this moment was sacred to her. Namaz was not just a ritual; it was her connection to Allah, a source of peace and grounding in her otherwise hectic life.

As she slowly opened her eyes, she whispered a silent thank you, "Ya Allah, thank You for waking me up for this prayer. I know I miss it sometimes, and I feel so bad, but I trust that You understand my struggles. Please continue to guide me, and forgive me when I fall short."

With that, Noor rose from her bed, tidying it with practiced precision before making her way to the washroom for Wudu. The cool water on her skin refreshed her, both physically and spiritually, as she prepared herself for the prayer. Wrapping herself in her white prayer dress, she felt a calm wash over her. She stood on her prayer mat, the soft fabric grounding her as she began her Salah.

As she recited the Quran, her voice, filled with reverence, echoed in the quiet room. The world seemed to hold its breath, with only the faint chirping of birds in the distance breaking the silence. Noor felt as though the entire universe had paused, allowing her to focus solely on her connection with Allah. After completing her Salah, she sat down for Dhikr, her fingers gently moving over the beads of her Tasbih as she remembered Allah. Each whispered word brought her closer to Him, filling her with an inner peace that was hard to find elsewhere.

Closing her eyes, Noor raised her hands in Dua, speaking to Allah with a heart full of gratitude.

"Ya Allah, I thank You for all the blessings You've bestowed upon me. For my health, my family, and the opportunities You've placed in my path. Please forgive me for my shortcomings, and guide me to be the best version of myself. Protect my loved ones, and bless all the Muslims around the world. Ya Allah, I'm trying to move on, to lock away my feelings for Shaan, but something new is stirring within me. This feeling—I don't know if it's love or something else. Please guide me, especially with Ruhaan. I don't want to make any mistakes. Help me understand what my heart is trying to tell me."

With a deep breath, Noor ended her prayer, feeling a bit lighter. She folded her prayer mat with care and placed it back in its spot before heading to the bathroom for a quick shower. As the warm water cascaded over her, she thought about the day ahead. It was her first day at a new job, and the significance of it filled her with both excitement and nerves. She had only an hour left to prepare, and there was so much to do.

After drying off, Noor opened her wardrobe, carefully selecting her outfit. She chose a light sky-blue shirt, pairing it with navy blue trousers and a matching blazer. As she dressed, her mother, Mrs. Sitara, called her. Noor smiled as she answered the phone.

"Assalamu Alaikum, Ammi," Noor greeted.

"Wa Alaikum Assalam, my dear. How are you feeling today? Ready for your big day?" her mother asked, her voice warm and comforting.

"Yes, Ammi, I'm excited but a little nervous. It's a huge responsibility," Noor admitted, fastening a star-shaped pendant around her neck. "I want to make a good impression."
