Happy reading...
After so many years, Noor Ahmad was finally on the brink of meeting him. The anticipation had turned her night into a restless swirl of dreams and hopes. She lay awake, her mind racing with thoughts of their long-awaited encounter. It was her aunt's wedding, a grand family affair that had brought relatives together for the past two days. Yet, amidst the celebration, Noor's heart was set on one person—Shaan.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As the night deepened, her thoughts about Shaan grew more fervent, her heartbeat quickening with every imagined conversation and touch. The knock on her door broke through her reverie.
Sitara Ahmad, Noor's loving mother, entered the room with a gentle smile. She approached Noor's bed, placing a tender kiss on her forehead and trying to wake her daughter.
Sitara: "Noor, utho meri jaan. Subha ho gaya, apko tayar nehi hona? Dekho, sare mehman agaye hain."
Noor, still half in a dream, pretended to be deeply asleep, her mind already weaving fantasies about Shaan.
Noor (POV): Jisko meri nazre dhoond rahi hai, wo to nahi aaye abhi tak.
In a sleepy tone, Noor tried to prolong her dreamlike state.
Noor: "Assalamualaikum Ammi. Apne hug nahi kiya? Mujhe aaj bas ek kiss aur jhappi chahiye."
Sitara, amused and affectionate, replied.
Sitara: "Han meri bachi, aaja meri akhon ki thandak. Chalo uth jao, Papa intezar mein hain tumhare haathon ki chai ke liye."
Noor's chai was legendary in their home; everyone loved it, and her father particularly looked forward to enjoying it when he was back.
Noor: "Ok Ammi, aati hoon fresh hoke. Papa ko bol do, hume bas 5 minute chahiye."
Sitara: "Ji beta, ji."
As Noor reluctantly got out of bed, she casually inquired.
Noor: "Ame, wese sare mehman agaye hain?"
Her question was intentional, hoping to learn more about Shaan's arrival.
Sitara: "Ji haan Noor, sab koi agaye hain. Han, bas tumhari khala nikal gayi hai, bas koi 1-2 ghante mein pahunch jayegi."
Noor's heart leaped at the news.
She quickly freshened up and made her way to the kitchen to prepare the tea. After brewing the perfect cups, she carried them to the sitting room, where her father and uncles awaited.
Ahmad: "Are meri bachi, kitna intezar karwaya apne? Lao, chai dedo mujhe."
As her father took the cups, he kissed Noor's hand, his eyes reflecting the deep love and pride he felt for his daughter. In his eyes, she was a blessing from Allah, the most beautiful girl in the entire family.
With a warm smile, Noor returned to her room to get ready. She emptied her wardrobe, searching for the perfect outfit—a white dress with pink floral embroidery, Shaan's favorite color. She donned the dress, leaving her hair naturally flowing and adding a pair of oxidized earrings.

In her hand, Noor held her favorite book, its pages a comforting companion as she waited for Shaan. She looked at her reflection in the mirror, her heart fluttering with both excitement and nervousness. The book was her solace, a reminder of her dreams and hopes, and she clutched it tightly as she awaited the moment she would finally see Shaan.
As the day unfolded and the festivities continued, Noor stood ready, her dreams in white dress poised for a moment that she had longed for, hoping that this day would bring her closer to the one who had captured her heart.
This type of dress she wore.
