I drove to the grocery and got some supplies for me to cook while Shannon was sleeping peacefully back at the apartment and when I came back she was still on the same state she was when I left her. For some reason, I was thankful for it since I can get to focus on cooking for her, but the apartment was too quiet for me to even settle my mind into one thing. MK called as soon as I texted her we we're home, she didn't got to speak to Shannon though because Shannon passed out again as soon as her head hit her pillow but I told her that the results hasn't come in but Dr. Ameri will surely update us when it does. Bless MK, she's really really worried about Shan and I can't blame her. They've developed a bond so close overtime and I'm happy about it.

Well, I've also talked to Jake. Supposedly, we were bound to LA tonight but with Shannon's state, that's just not possible to happen. So, I called Jake and told him about what happened and that maybe we could fly back to LA tomorrow is Shannon is strong enough to do it.  He was cool about it though, and I was glad about it.

It's almost 7 pm and fortunately, Shannon woke up just as I was ready to plate some food for her, but even for the longest time she was asleep, she still looks so tired. She walked slowly towards me rubbing her eyes, she lets out a huge breath before giving me a small smile and says a soft "Hi"

"Hey, how are you feeling?" I asked placing a bowl of her pumpkin soup on the kitchen table. I slightly jumped when I felt arms wrap around my waist and a head on my shoulder. I can feel my heart start to rush again. For a second I froze but then I relax deeply in her arms and my lips automatically curved upward. I've never felt this good for the longest time. I turn in her arms to face her as she raised hers from my shoulder, her eyes were still closed when I look up. I touched her face and it feels warm, not warm enough for a fever, which I'm very thankful for.

"You hungry?" I asked and she nods but suddenly froze and I got nervous. Her hands loosen around my waist and her eyes slowly opens revealing those blue crystals, and I couldn't read what she was thinking which scares me.

"Shan?" I asked my hands dropping to her shoulders squeezing them slightly, silently begging her not to let go. We stayed there for a while just looking at each other and I think I stopped breathing until I finally felt her hands moving on my lower back her arms pulling me closer cautiously but she never did took her eyes off mine, maybe to see my reaction to our current situation right now. Ashley's voice rings in my ear again, like a whisper in my mind.

I think Shannon's got a thing for you as well.

But this time, I'm starting to believe her. I can feel it, I can see it, but there's something else. Suddenly, she scrunches her eyes shut and flinches. A sharp pain shoots through my chest as my hand goes to her cheek. "What's wrong?" I asked, my voice sounding so urgent. She relaxes a few seconds later and looks back to me holding my hand that's on her cheek and smiled.

"Just a headache" she said. Her eyes scan around and landed on the food on the table. " You cooked?" She asks and even though I'm still worried about that 'headache' I put on my effort to smile and nod my head.

"Now go sit down, I'll get you a glass of water." I said stroking her arm. She lets go and made her way to the kitchen table grabbing a seat while I got a glass of water from the kitchen counter before joining her in. She takes a spoonful of the pumpkin soup and I stopped and look at her waiting for some kind of reaction.

"So?" I asked.

"This is the best pumpkin soup I have tasted, where the fuck have you been Lizzie?" She looks at me in disbelief and I giggled at the look on her face before placing some pasta on her plate and mine too.

"Oh God, this is so good." She says after taking some of her pasta and hearing that makes me the happiest. She then looks at me and smiles as I start to eat. She had this funny look on her face, a quirky one and I wonder why she was looking at me like that so I say
