The dynamic within the group had always been one of open-mindedness and acceptance, but even so, personal boundaries and private moments remained respected. This made the unexpected encounter Mark had one afternoon all the more shocking and awkward for him.

It happened on a seemingly ordinary day. Mark had returned home earlier than expected, intending to surprise Jisung and Jeno with an impromptu gaming session, his way of bonding with the younger members of their circle. As he quietly unlocked the door and stepped into the living room, he was greeted not by the usual scattered video game controllers but by Jeno and Jisung locked in a passionate embrace, completely oblivious to the world around them.

Startled by the intensity of the scene, Mark froze for a moment, his brain trying to process the sight. The last thing he wanted was to intrude on a private moment, yet there he was, standing awkwardly with no idea how to react. After what felt like an eternity but was only a few seconds, he quietly backed out of the room, gently closing the door behind him with a soft click that went unnoticed by the couple.

Confused and feeling like he needed to clear his head, Mark walked down the hall to find Haechan, who was humming to himself while organizing some music sheets.

"Hey," Mark called out, still visibly flustered.

Haechan looked up, noting the bewildered expression on Mark's face. "What happened?"

Mark sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I don't know, man. Ask Jeno and Jisung why they were eating each other's faces."

Haechan paused, a smirk appearing on his face as he tried not to laugh. "We eat each other's faces all the time, Mark. Stop judging."

Mark rolled his eyes, though a small smile tugged at his lips. "I know, I know. It's just... I wasn't expecting that. Not like this, anyway."

Haechan, sensing Mark's discomfort but also finding the situation a bit amusing, clapped him on the shoulder. "Come on, it's good for them. They've been dancing around each other for weeks. It's about time they figured it out."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Mark conceded, his initial shock fading into a sense of acceptance and even relief. "I just wish I had knocked."

Both laughed, the tension dissipating as they moved on to other topics, planning the rest of their day with a renewed sense of normalcy. Mark's initial confusion gave way to supportiveness, reminded by Haechan's words that what mattered most was the happiness of their friends.

Meanwhile, Jeno and Jisung, oblivious to Mark's brief intrusion, continued to explore their newfound feelings, their relationship evolving within the safe confines of their trusted circle. The incident would later become a humorous anecdote, another story added to the tapestry of their intertwined lives, celebrated and accepted in the unique way only they could.
