His eyes were focused on the screen as his fingers were moving in a synchrony on the keypad of the laptop. That was his private space in his mansion where he mostly did this work of his which no one was aware of. He clicked on a tab and it led him to a different site. That was a private messaging app that he was supposed to join, but there was a bigger problem as it showed a 4-step verification code. Working undercover and silently by becoming a part of this conversation first and then carefully gauging every activity in it was necessary if they wanted to land a hand over all the black sheep.

The big option of the 4-step verification code was making faces at him. He scratched his forehead in dismay. If the undercover authorities were smart to trace any foul play in this case then the real culprits also didn't fight any children's game. They knew how to keep themselves safe. And now, of course, they had to pause here until they could come up with any further plan.

Any new character, even if with a fake identity of a fresh learner, couldn't just barge in the chats. They underestimated this scheme of enemies by thinking of it as a weak trap. Mostly this learner opportunity was allowed in some new nuclear testing missions. But now, how meticulously this all was webbed out showed a very twisted and screwed up mission to put a disadvantage on the country's economy.

He quickly grabbed his phone and dialed Boss' number.

"Sir, there's a problem."

"What?" Came his secretive voice.

"Hacking the system won't work here. The web is shrewdly laid out. We need to think of some other way."

"But the hacking would have easily given us the perpetuators' names, identities, and proofs of their evil play, A."

"I beg to differ here, Sir. The chat is not very easy to knock into. Any small effort from us to barge in their private territory would make them cautious."

"But isn't this new mission done by the enemy masked in the identity of some Research Students planning to experiment with their new project? We can hack some other chats of them as a learner at first to remain safe. That would give us the cover-up, A."
