" I... I'm okay ate" i simply said smiled
" Kaka uwi ko lang last week dito sa pilipinas" i continued

" San ka galing 'teh?" Johanna asked naman

" US, New York to be exact "

" Oww, vacation..siguro busy ang life mo as an international artist no?" Gwen

I looked at her and smiled...but shook my head

" No... work"

Nagkatinginan silang lahat, ng nagtataka

" Ahh so you mean, concert ? "
Again, i shook my head..
" So how long have you been there?" Ate Aiah asked while cutting her steak

" Eight" my voice is becoming unstable... They really don't know what happened

" Eight months? " Mikha

I smiled dahil unti-unti na silang nakiki engaged in a conversation, but i'm a little nervous because they're about to know the truth

" Years .."
And after I said that, their faces fell...at bakas sa mukha nila na gusto nilang mag tanong

I noticed Colet was about to say something for the first time since getting here, but was interrupted by non other than......

" Girls, If you may excuse.. may kakausapin lang ako ha...balik ako" paalam ko sa kanila, ayaw pa sanang bitawan ni Jhoanna kamay ko pero i assured her na babalik ako

I caught a glimpse of Ate Aiah whispering something to Colet bago ako tuloyang maka layo sa table nila

" Attorney.."

Lumayo kami sa table nila, pero tanaw pa rin naman..

He handed me a bouquet of flowers, tas sinabi na her Brother and sister in law is planning to have a house, they want me to plan it

Maiinis sana ako kaso malaking project 'to and as an Architect, i cannot lose it

After i told him the details para sa meeting nagpaalam na rin siya kaya bumalik na rin ako sa table

Nilapag ko sa katabing table yong bouquet bago umupo ulit

" Sorry for that girl " i said to them

" Boyfriend?" Nagulat ako nang biglang magsalita si Sheena

" O-ow, no... He's not"

"What's with the flowers though? Ikaw ha, andami na naming hindi alam tungkol sa'yo, gaya ng Architect ka na pala" Ate Aiah with a proud but with a hint of pang aasar sa boses na may sad tone rin

I giggled

" Kaya nga ate Maloi, i'm sure ikaw alam mo kung ano mga ganap namin sa buhay, everything is on the internet, pero ikaw nawala ka pati sa socmed kaya wala kaming ka alam alam tungkol sa'yo" sabi ni Staku, na parang nagtatampo

I sighed, and decided that maybe a little detail won't hurt

" Okay so, I studied and graduated Architecture in Dubai... And studied again for business in New York.. four years ago i started to build my company, which is an Architectural firm... I'm also a café owner, branch all over the Philippines, and this Resort"

" Wow "
" So you made it big BIG" Jhoanna said na naka nganga pa, jusko

" Ow you stop it, hindi naman" nahihiya kong tawa

" But we thought you went solo?? So aren't you supposed to do music or career related to that?"

Then my smile faltered

" Opss opss, you promised not to ask, nonono Jhoanna, bukas na yan," suway ni Ate Aiah

Thank God...

Again, Jhoanna pouted ..tinawanan ko na lang siya
" I promise, tomorrow..i'll tell you everything" i smiled

We continued eating, and i couldn't resist stealing a glance at her ... That's when i noticed that she's been glaring at me.... But then i realized, her gaze passed through me...kaya pasimple akong tumingin sa likod ....The bouquet, she's glaring at the flowers??

Problema neto...

But anyway, i let her be na lang... Baka wala lang sa mood, or maybe tired

11:30 PM

Kakatapos ko lang mag freshen up, preparing for bed , the girls asked me to spend time with them kaya late na

Ate Aiah, Stacey, Mikha and Gwen joined forces para awatin si Jhoanna kase siya yong nag insist na mag stay muna ako para samahan sila, pero wala e... si Jho yon eh, isa rin sa mga kahinaan namin, lalo na kung nagsanib pwersa sila ni Shee, ay talagang walang palag

But Shee doesn't even seem to care about me...
I deeply sighed

I put my phone on the bed side table bago sana mag lock ng door at matulog na when i heard a knock

" Come in! Bukas yan" sigaw ko bago tumayo

I heard the door slowly opened.....

" Shee?"
Hindi makapaniwala Kong sabi

Sheena is here, standing timidly inside my room, hugging a pillow, with her Pyjama looking down na mukhang nahihiya

Iniangat niya ang kaniyang tingin
" C-can I sleep here?" She shyly asked

Aww ... My heart just melted

I looked at her lovingly and smiled

" Ow come here, Of course you can" I gently said gesturing her to come closer, which she did naman

" Tabi ka sa'kin?" I asked, she nodded hiding half of her face behind her pillow, i giggled and gently tapped her Head just like i used to

Pina ayos ko na siya sa bed at maglolock na sana ako ng pinto when...

" Ateee, can i sleep here???"
Jhoanna ...

Ang taas pa rin ng energy niya jusko po ..

" Lower your voice Jho, may mga tulog na" i gently scolded her

She put her palm on her mouth, natawa ako

" Pasok na " sabi ko, which made her jump excitedly

I locked the door bago kami pumasok kung nasaan ang bed ko

Ay, hindi ko pa pala nasasabi na andito si Shee

" Ay Jho andit-" i was cut off when Sheena talked

" Una ako dito, kaya ako tatabi kay ate Maloi"

Luh..

" Eh gusto ko rin siya katabi " angal naman ni Jho

Ay jusko mag aaway pa yata

" Ohh ohh awat na, malawak naman yong bed, sa gitna na lang ako "

" Pero ayaw mong nagigitna ka" Sheena said

" Oo nga ate, kaya nga laging nag aadjust si Ate Colet dati e" sabi naman ni Jhoanna na ikinatawa namin

" I can make an exception tonight, kase baka magsabubotan pa kayo dito hay nako" biro ko naman

So nahiga na ako sa gitna nila at nahiga na rin si Jho after niya patayin ang ilaw

Both of them hugged me

" Goodnight ate " they both said
